"Ahhh. I see you've finally arrived. You are most curious... But I would know my would-be adversaries better. What drives you I wonder? And where do your allegiances lie?" "I am, of course The Black Spider, and I welcome you to my nest. Just as I welcomed the Redbrands and the Cragmaws. I will surrender, if you would do me the kindness of allegiance. You see, I wish to reach the Forge of Spells, but many... "interesting" creatures lie between here and there. What say you?" "Very well..." *snaps fingers* 3 Giant Spiders descend. On rope-thick strands of webbing. Nezzar looks upward, arms and staff sweeping as he plys his craft. "My queen Tiamat, I have weaved a web worthy of your greatness. Bless me now with but a mote of your power, that I might lay low these fools!" Swirling black portal spirals into being above him. The horned head of a black dragon emerges and breathes a stream of black acid upon Nezzar. His form shifts and writhes, growing in size and bulk, the sounds of splitting accompanying the growth of new limbs, the acrid fluid resceeds, his new form seemingly absorbing the acid as the dragonic head retreats and the portal closes above him. Nezzar, the Black Spider, whose machinations brought you here, to the centre of his web, is no more. Nezzurpurak, the Dragon-Spider has arisen and you are the feast. Roll Initiative.
