POSTS STORIES REELS

A handful of moments I love from the past four days away in our bubble. Most of the best ones weren’t captured. We were too busy being in them.

Every camp is special, but CA 2026 has been something else. A genuinely rare group that I will never get over. So many moments I don’t ever want to forget.

And then there’s my team. My soulmates. Which other adults get to detach from the world and create the most positive environment where they run amok and be exactly who they are. Where you willingly choose four hours of sleep a night so you can connect and talk and listen and laugh until you cry. Who else gets to reset like we do. Who else gets the jolt.

CA Team, thank you for making this camp what it was. The logistics team for the most well organised camp ever. The team leaders for mentoring and giving it your all. And my fab four. Caleb, you level up every year and make every kid feel seen. Lukey, you will forever be one of my favourite people, and you are exactly what it means to be a great man. I adore you. Riley, you are CA. The 14 year old who came through our program is now a 28 year old man and you are the heart of everything we do. Mike, my guy. I wish everybody in the world could know you, because then they’d be as rich as me. Your aura and presence is unmatched and every room is better when you’re in it.

I love you all, with every fibre of my being. Thank you for the best four days (actually, nine weeks). I’m so supercharged, I could explode. by @sandisieger

I often think I do myself a disservice when people ask me what we do at @campawakenings and I tell them “we make magic.” Sure, the personal development camp that we voluntarily run changes the lives of the teens who come through it. Sure, we build confidence, self-esteem, and help young people become the best version of themselves. All of that is true. But it’s so much more.

I’ve somehow made a career out of the most unlikely combination of skills. Or perhaps it’s exactly the right combination. Who knows. Most days I’m flying by the seat of my pants. I often find myself in places, doing things, almost watching myself from above, wondering if it’s all a little too good to be true.

And while I know I’m good at what I do, there’s sometimes a disconnect, a feeling of wondering whether I belong in the room I’m standing in. But never here. Never at CA. Here, with these people, doing this thing we’ve built, I know exactly where I belong. I’ve never questioned it. Not once.

I realised a while ago that I’ve now been running CA for longer than I haven’t. It is an anchor in my life. A really big one.

I don’t have a five-year plan. Nor a ten-year one. I couldn’t tell you what I’ll be doing next month, let alone in 2036. My life is bustling and my career is, for the most part, nothing short of chaotic. I figure it out as I go, I do it scared, tired, unsure. I live by that: be afraid, but do it anyway. I live like I mean it.

I think back to all those years ago, sitting in a dive bar on West 10th Street in NYC, making a pinky promise to ‘just say yes’. To keep saying yes, to everything. And I have. And somehow, through all the different versions of myself and the different lives I’ve lived, through the many highs and the shattering lows, CA has been the constant.

So maybe I do myself a disservice when I tell people we make magic. But after all the camps, all the kids, all the extraordinary people who have come through this world we’ve created, I don’t have a better way to explain it.

CA is still the best thing I do. In a life full of very good things, nothing else comes close to being here with these people, my chosen family. And that is some kinda magic 💙🤍 by @sandisieger

“I’m here in regard to the chicken parma” - Ted by @sandisieger

A very proud moment tonight as we officially launch On Her Path: Retail Ready as part of the @melbfashionweek Independent Program, ahead of the two-week residency at @southmelbournemarket.

It’s been such a privilege to work alongside @inhernameau, a Carla Zampatti legacy powering the futures of young women, helping bring this initiative to life and share the stories of six extraordinary women and the businesses they’re building.

I’ve been endlessly inspired by their ambition, resilience, creativity and determination, and it’s been an absolute joy getting to know them and helping tell their stories.

So proud of what we’ve achieved together, and even more excited about what’s still to come. Go get ‘em, gals. by @sandisieger

@sandisieger has been a big fan of @ziggyalberts for years. His music has soundtracked countless road trips, summers and days at her desk, so this one was a bit special.

Sandi caught up with the Australian singer-songwriter for our latest Australian Conversation, chatting about his seventh studio album Twin Flames, life on the road, doing things his own way and the lessons he’s learnt along the way. by @sandisieger

ready & raring to go 🫡 by @sandisieger

A writer, somewhere along the line, at some point time, said, “There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”

Hemingway is frequently, and incorrectly, attributed with the quote. Paul Gallico expressed a similar sentiment in his book, published in 1946. Some people say the famous sportswriter Red Smith came up with it.

Maybe it doesn’t matter who said it. Maybe all that matters is that we sit down and bleed. Maybe now that matters more than ever.

Bleeding, writing, sharing. Imperfect, messy, human. #WORDSxSANDI by @sandisieger
