cover to life.

Of course the chosen one was "keepers of the
Seven Keys" by the iconic @helloweenofficial 🎃

in this animation I put a lot reference
of the album tracks,
avoiding the obvious and making imagination fly

Minuto Tech by Le Wagon - A partnership between Ubisoft and Le Wagon 👩‍💻

It was a pleasure being part of that amazing project for Ubisoft TV.
.
🤩 I love challenging myself with every animation, and this one was no different.
.
Creating a minimalist intro that mimics the essence of Minuto Tech was not as easy as I expected, but it was equally fun. 💁‍♂️

What made you proud this year?
.
For me, it was being able to do one-handed push-ups after a motorcycle accident.
.
check-out the little bts in my feed.
.
In the rig I use Duik, Limbo and a kinda of FK motion.
.

My year started in a funny way, I broke my right wrist after being ejected from my motorcycle (which I kinda don't recommend, it hurts a bit).
.
In February, I couldn’t even hold a cup of water or open a door.
Unable to workout, I lost weight and confidence. Thankfully, my fiancée helped me get back on my feet.
.
This year was strange: professionally, it was my best, but being able to return to do simple daily tasks was the best part of my year.

Six years of character rigging, and I still love the process.
.
This is the most crucial moment in character animation, no matter how good your animation skills are.
.
Without a proper rig, you can get stuck, lose time, miss schedules, and risk blowing the deadline.
.
Rigging is kind of a “Sisyphus’ curse”: every time you reach the top, you have to go back down and start again. You can see the patterns, but every character comes with different challenges, even the simplest ones.

👀 A little sneak peek of my personal project (coming to life soon)! ✨

This scene isn’t even in the final project 🎬, but I’d like to share these two types of walk cycles 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

Made using Duik Angela (though Bassel is much better 😅).

I also used Nulls From paths (for the Rat walkcycle) 🎯.

I love a challenge, and animating hands is a special one for me.

🫡 Finally, I can show my contribution to this amazing challenge proposed by @2deadfrog.
-
inspired by the incredible animation from @antonin.work.
-
It was quite hard, but equally fun to create this massive controller.
-
Playing with expressions made me feel like I’d reached another level in motion design!
-
It’s crazy—if I had done this manually, it would’ve taken only a third of the time.🤣🤣
-
Special thanks to @creategabriel, who taught me more about trigonometry, sine, and cosine than my school ever did. You’re the GOAT, man!
-
And of course, huge thanks to @antonin.work for creating such inspiring artwork that pushed all of us to bring it to life in After Effects.

🤔 For some reason, I avoided taking commissions like that.
.
But now I see my mistake.
.
I used to think fancy motion and character animation were the only way.
.
But typography is actually really fun to animate and brings eye-catching results! ✨
.
With simple motion and composition, you can create animations that stick in people's minds, drive conversions, and are a joy to watch. 🎬🔥
