I’m coming back to Oslo next season! I’m so so happy to be back at the house that feels like home again for two very different productions! The first role is gonna be Cupid in Orfeus in the Underworld (in Norwegian) by Offenbach. This is a crazy operetta with quick dialogue, famous melodies and crazy humour. Excited to do this one with my good friends and colleagues. Directed by Vidar Magnussen and conducted by Johannes Gustavsson. Second one will be my first ever Wagner role! I’ll be singing Wellgunde in the first opera of the Ring Cycle Das Rheingold! The opera house with be doing the Ring Cycle from 2027-2030! Directed by Tatjana Gürbaca and conducted by Edward Gardner! 📸 @telramund by @sandrabendrik

THE GALLOPING CURE It’s been a few days since the last show of the run of The Galloping Cure in Umeå. It’s been such an amazing experience, from its creation in Scotland all the way to the last show in Umeå (for now). Getting to know this music and Noy has been a heartbreaking pleasure. And it being my first role as a freelancer (thank you for the help and support @elisabeth_haglund)! Thank you to @missymazzoli and @rvavrek for creating such an important and relevant opera. Thank you to everyone for the support in learning the role, shaping the role and singing the role. To both @scottishopera and @norrlandsoperan. Tom Morris, @leahhausman and @jessicacottis for stretching me in my work. A special shoutout to Ali, @meg_rhoades21, @tobystanfordpiano and @rosie_kat in Scotland! The entire casts both in Scotland and in Sweden were amazing support and lovely colleagues (even coming in on their day off for the cover run!). @dcecima, @justinmichaelaustin and Sue Bullock for being so great at your craft which makes me strive to be better every show. A final one to @robperatic- couldn’t have done it without you x 📸 1: @fotografmalinarnesson by @sandrabendrik
NOY- THE GALLOPING CURE Last week of The Galloping Cure at Norrlandsoperan! What an amazing experience this has been. From it getting its shape in Glasgow and World premiere in Edinburgh to the Nordic premiere in Umeå. Noy has been a pleasure and emotional rollercoaster to get to know. She goes through it. And this was my first stage death (spoiler alert)! The show is still live on the radio Sveriges Radio P2 for another 30 days if you missed it. Here in Umeå we have two more shows which are sold out! Until we meet again, Noy 🖤 📸 Malin Arnesson by @sandrabendrik

THE GALLOPING CURE- Scottish Opera I’ve had such an amazing time in Glasgow and Edinburgh rehearsing and learning the role of Noy in Mizzy Mazzolis and Royce Vavreks new opera. Thank you to the opera house for being such generous people with your expertise and time. Shout out to the rest of the cover cast who built with me and the principal cast for being such inspirations! I can’t wait to show this annoying, human and confused teenager in Sweden where we start rehearsals tomorrow! Premiere 12th of September! by @sandrabendrik
❤️ 📸: Erik Berg by @sandrabendrik
