Recently its been baby coffee dates, sleep training and uninterrupted family time.
Switching off, fully embracing home & motherhood has felt so empowering and peaceful!
I kept being reminded that ‘to whom much is given, much is required’. This was very timely as I was definitely spreading myself too thin; Everyday was not giving a HECK & ‘am going out!’
I needed this important reminder of focusing on what matters most!

Being a mother & wife is not easy and requires so much from you. But I’m convinced that pouring myself into this season will definitely pay dividends in ways I could never imagine.

Self Care looks different when you’re in survival mode.

Sometimes it’s choosing nourishing food, spending time with safe people, taking care of your appearance, protecting your peace and staying close to God.

These small choices have helped me hold onto myself during the harder seasons of life.

HIS GRACE… 🤍✨

Last year, I said I wouldn’t do anything for my 40th, but God had different plans! My friends & family came together and blessed me with three beautiful celebrations…each one a reflection of God’s Grace & Love for me🙏🏾🥹🤍

In a season where I felt like I didn’t have the capacity to celebrate, God reminded me that I am truly blessed with SISTERS. 🤍

My girls went above and beyond to plan the most beautiful surprise trip to Paris…one I’m still processing. Every detail was filled with so much thought, elegance and fun! From the itinerary to every derailed surprise in between, they created a 40th birthday memory I will never forget! ✨

If I could encourage anyone in their 30s and early 40s, it would be this: pray for and invest in your village. Cherish the people who show up for you through both the high and low seasons.

I went from planning absolutely nothing for my 40th to being celebrated again and again. 🥹✨

From family celebrations to this beautiful evening organised by my gorgeous friend @natalieok100 and surrounded by amazing friends whom I love dearly, I’ve been overwhelmed by love.

Three celebrations so far, and each one a reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness. 🤍✨
