🥈 IRONMAN 70.3 Tallinn 🇪🇪 A race I’ll remember for a long time. Cold, rain, wind… and just 3 km into the bike, a huge gust of wind hit me in a roundabout and sent me straight into a ditch. 🫠 Damaged cockpit, broken front bottle cage, and all my nutrition lost in the crash. Not exactly the start I had planned. But back to the fight. 🔥 I gradually worked my way back through the field and eventually came into T2 in 3rd position. On the run, I had a great battle with Marta for almost 10 km before she managed to drop me at km 17. I crossed the finish line convinced I had finished third… without knowing that Liis, who had been leading the race, had faded just 100 m from the finish. P2. 🥈 One week after finishing third in Hradec, I’m so happy to back it up with another podium. Congrats to @martae3 for such a great battle on the run, and huge respect to @liiskapten for fighting all the way to the end. 🤍 And most importantly… slot secured for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga! 🎟️🇺🇸 Now it’s time to switch gears and start preparing for my first full IRONMAN at the end of the season. 🙈🔥 📸 @sarivus.sport / @ironman_estonia by @sandrahuon
Almost one year calling Girona home. 🤍 Almost a year ago, I packed my bags and moved to Girona, without really knowing what this new chapter would look like. One year later, I still feel just as happy here. Maybe even more so. I have my routines, my favorite places, my little habits… and this city has slowly become home. I’m also sharing a few of my favorite coffee shops in Girona at the end of the carousel ☕️ Still just as happy wandering through its streets, on foot this time. ☀️ And feeling pretty well dressed for the occasion thanks to @americanvintage_officiel 💕 📸 @unloop.prod / @quentin.lblc by @sandrahuon
P3 at IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové 🥉 Finally, a race that reflects what I’ve been able to do in training. I’ve made a lot of progress this season, but I’ve struggled to put all the pieces of the puzzle together on race day. This weekend, I finally felt like I was able to express a big part of the work we’ve been doing in training. Super happy with the result, but even more with how I felt and how I executed the race. Of course, my brain has already identified everything we can still improve 😅 And that’s probably what excites me the most: feeling like I’ve taken another step forward while already seeing where the next one can come from. Now, time for some express recovery before @ironman_estonia next Sunday. 🇪🇪 I want to experience racing two weekends in a row and test different pacing and nutrition strategies to keep turning what we do in training into performance on race day. Basically, two huge training sessions… just in real race conditions. 😈 As always, a massive thank you to my team (@nickastelein / @valentin_garcin ) for being there every single day, putting up with my endless performance discussions and constantly looking with me for every little detail that can make us better. This podium is a reward for you too. 🫶 And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support and to the whole Hradec Králové organization. The atmosphere was incredible. I’ll be back. 🇨🇿 📸 @ironmanczechrepublic by @sandrahuon

24 hours in Paris with @backmarket 💚 A quick trip to Paris for the Slow Tech Summit 2026, where Back Market also introduced its new awareness campaign, Mine My Phone. We kicked things off with a community run, followed by talks about the impact of our smartphones, why making them last longer matters, and how we can rethink our relationship with technology. I also had the opportunity to share the stage with @baptiste.chassagne to discuss the role of tech in our lives as endurance athletes. And actually, there are quite a few parallels between endurance sports and Slow Tech. In sport, we spend years building endurance, learning to be more efficient and making the most of what we have. Why shouldn’t we approach our tech the same way? We also talked about something I believe strongly in: technology can help us understand ourselves and improve, but it should never replace how we feel. Data is valuable, but so is learning to listen to your body. Really grateful to have the opportunity to speak about topics like these, meet inspiring people and share different perspectives. And because the IRONMAN training doesn’t stop… I even managed to squeeze in my tempo run after the conference. 😂 A busy but very rewarding day in Paris! 💚 by @sandrahuon
Building for Cozumel 🇲🇽 Just over a month until my first full IRONMAN! Since my last races in Hradec and Tallinn back in August, it’s been all about training, recovering, eating… and repeating. Fitness is at an all-time high, and I’m learning more about myself with every session. A few updates from the training cave: 📈 Working smarter, not just harder. Lactate testing and my new Tymewear respiratory sensor are helping me understand my body better and make sure I’m training at the right intensities. 🚴‍♀️ Long days are getting even longer. Discovering what full-distance preparation really means, and honestly, I’m loving it. My Shokz have definitely saved me on a few endless sessions. 🏊‍♀️ Building strength in the water. Still working on staying relaxed and efficient, even under fatigue. If anyone finds my arms, please return them. 🫠 ❤️ Having Val around more often. Fewer work trips for him lately, which means more time together and an extra training partner / assistant coach to help get through the big sessions. The workload is bigger than ever, but so is my excitement. One month to go. Still so much to learn. And loving the process. by @sandrahuon

It’s live! 🎥 Why wasn’t I able to perform at the same level in races as I was in training? Nutrition, lactate, mindset, swim intensity, bike pacing… we questioned everything, tested a lot, and learned even more. I’m sharing the whole process in my latest YouTube video. Enjoy the good days. Keep pedalling through the tough ones 🚀🚴‍♀️ by @sandrahuon
Train hard, recover harder. 🔋 The weeks are stacking up and the volume is getting bigger as I prepare for my first full IRONMAN. The more I train, the more I believe in one thing: prevention is better than cure. So I’m keeping my regular routine with my chiropractor @centre_quiropractico_girona in Girona to help my body handle the load and keep doing what I love. 🤝 PS: prevention doesn’t mean pain-free… swipe to the last slide. 🥲😂 📸 @unloop.prod / @quentin.lblc by @sandrahuon
