You might not know this about me, but I am navigating a diagnosis of macular degeneration. The thought of what might be in my future scares the heck out of me. However, my art practice has given me a vital way to process these fears and provide a constant reminder to connect with the world around me. I am deeply honored to be a part of this traveling tactile exhibit focused on blind and low-vision access.It serves as a powerful reminder that not everybody has the ability to enjoy art the way some of us can. By inviting audiences to experience art in new, meaningful, and touch-based ways, this show breaks down traditional barriers.I would love for you to experience this beautiful, inclusive collection with me. Captured by sunlight, preserved in wax. ✨ My latest work explores time and memory by embedding sun prints beneath luminous layers of molten beeswax.
