A return to Tibet, shared with friends, collaborators and artists who have long been part of Sandriver’s journey.

Through workshops, landscapes and encounters, we returned to the origins of Pulu — an ancient textile tradition shaped by hand, time and place.

Now in the fourth year of our ten-year commitment, the journey continues with the same belief: true craftsmanship lives not in display, but in the gesture of making; not in nostalgia, but in continuity.

An ancient craft, shaped by the nomadic heritage of Inner Mongolia.

Felt-making is among the region’s most enduring artisanal traditions — a practice in which material, gesture and time become inseparable.

For this season’s collection, presented during New York Fashion Week, fine cashmere is laid by hand over silk and slowly felted into form. Each piece requires many hours of work and the collaboration of several artisans.

The result is entirely singular: soft, sculptural and impossible to reproduce in exactly the same way.
