The last 48 hours have been a beautiful blur… exhausting, overwhelming, magical, and more fulfilling than we could have ever imagined. Welcoming our sweet baby boy into the world has been the most incredible experience of our lives 🩵💙🩵💙

And just like that, you made me a mother 🥰

… you arrived, and your dad was there to meet you 🥹👋🏻

Welcome to the world, Henry Edward Li 🤗🩵👶🏻, born on 09/29/2026 weighing 3.2kg, measuring 50.8cm with the loudest lungs we have ever heard.

Words cannot describe the gratitude and love I feel for this guy, who hasn’t left my side since the day we met and who doesn’t shy away from the difficult and the ugly, even short and uncomfortable af hospital beds.

Learning how to swaddle properly as one of the first parental challenges 😆 how do the nurses do it so perfectly every time while we struggle so hard just to keep his little hand down? 🥲

Gazing lovingly at this little miracle we created has become our new hobby ✨

From reading bedtime stories to you before you were born to talking to you every chance he gets ✨ You’ve always been Dad’s little love. 🩵🥰

The year our lives changed forever 🌟

No one really prepares you for the wave of emotions, the physical changes, and the mental shifts that come with being pregnant. It’s been one of the most challenging journeys I’ve ever experienced, but also one I’m trying to slow down and truly take in. After waiting so long for this chapter, it’s surreal how quickly it seems to be passing by.

This year has been a true rollercoaster—and we’re only just getting started. Between doctor’s appointments, childbirth classes, and all the nursery preparation, we’ve been trying to stay sane while asking ourselves the questions that really matter: What kind of parents do we want to be? What do we want to give our child? What kind of life do we want to create together?

And through all the excitement, uncertainty, and everything in between, I couldn’t imagine going on this adventure with anyone else. My best friend, my partner in crime, and now my teammate in the biggest adventure of our lives.

Thank you for going on this new adventure with me. 🤍 Our greatest adventure yet is just beginning.

2025 has been a tough cookie, but the support from loved ones made all the difference. Words can't express how thankful I am. Also, starting our LA chapter has been chaotic but exploring food in the city and all things American has been so much fun!

Here's to ending 2025 on a high note, grateful for the strength and resilience we've built. Ready for what’s next!

Incredible. That’s my takeaway from last night’s experience. Having previously dined at Osteria Francescana in 2017, I knew I had to come back with my family for another taste. The tasting menu at @casamarialuigia, showcasing Massimo Bottura’s greatest hits, was enchanting. Every dish was a work of art, executed to perfection by the team. The icing on the cake was when Massimo Bottura appeared, graciously speaking with guests. His authentic passion and down-to-earth demeanour left a lasting impression. We even bumped into him again the next day in Modena and he spoke with us, remembering all the details we had told him about 🫢 what a genuinely kind human being!

My retired chef dad, with over 40 years of experience, found new inspiration to experiment at home. As a refugee in Germany, cooking was his means of survival, driving him to continually improve and build up his restaurant from the ground up. Thank you, dad, for years of love and nourishment through your cooking. Now it’s time to explore the world’s flavors together 🌎.
