I think early morning harvests before sunrise might be my new favorite thing.🌅 #azleflowerfarm #flowerfarmerflorist #bouquet #flowers by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Following from my last post. Had to capture season✌🏻. This was my first time overwintering flowers and it was TOUGH! Texas is not kind to flower farmers. I covered and uncovered my field 8+ times. But my Snapdragons and Statice came through! And I will forever grow Lisianthus. Trying from seed this next season! #flowerfarm #flowerfarmerflorist #bouquets #flowers #azleflowerfarm by @sandyacreflowerfarm

This audio moved me. All of these clips were from December 2024 - October 2025. My first year as a flower farmer. I’ve learned so much on this journey. Mainly about myself. My flowers keep getting better too. Thanks for being here and following along. 🫶🏼 #flowerfarmerflorist #azleflowerfarm #flowerfarm #springtowntx by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Flipping beds in preparation of the next season of flowers is probably my most LEAST favorite job on the flower farm with netting coming in a close second. Pulling and composting spent flowers and backfilling with fresh compost is similar to a workout. You dread starting and mostly hate it during.. BUT, the rush of energy and good feelings you get once it’s done is so worth it. 💪🏼🪏👏🏼 I already direct-sowed Bupleurum and Ammi/Dara and still have a bit to go before I can plant my indoor seedlings. It’s imperative to harden them off for several days to boost their success in the field. I could not have accomplished it without my Director of Operations. You’re the best! ☺️ #bouquets #flowerfarm #springflowers by @sandyacreflowerfarm

I’m still learning about seed saving and I’m testing out Bupleurum I harvested and saved last May this Fall🤞🏼. I loved these unique flowers plus the foliage they gave and hope to have a bed full of them come Spring! The plugs I bought did great last year and I’m ready to try direct sown this time. Are you growing this flower or did you love it in bouquets? Let me know in the comments!👇🏼#bouquets #flowerfarm #springflowers #azleflowerfarm by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Busy weekend composting the summer annuals trying to prep for my cool hardy annuals. Will be getting more compost and then planting all my sown seeds in the coming weeks. Big thanks to my Director of Operations for handling both the huge Celosia and the Yellow-Bellied Racer snake! 🐍 🥴#fallseason #coolhardyannual #spring2027flowers #youreapwhatyousow🌱 by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Part 2: Ranunculus is complete! Pre-soaking ✔️ Planted in soil to pre-sprout ✔️ Put in cooler for a few weeks ✔️ Now to monitor them to ensure the corms don’t dry out! 👀 by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Part 1: Ranunculus. I’m sweaty from a workout but getting busy with my Ranunculus prep and I’m doing ALL the things this season hoping for a better return on these puppies come Spring! Stay tuned for Part 2! 👏🏼 #bouquets #fallsowing #flowerfarm #ranunculuslove by @sandyacreflowerfarm

Correction — 100 soil blocks per row, 200 per tray🌱. Seed sowing for 2027 early spring flowers has commenced with readers included 🤓. With right about 8 weeks before our first frost dates here in Zone 8, I’m closing down the fields and working to turn over the beds, amend the soil and sow the seeds that will fill them again come October/November. Took me about 2 hours to make and sow 3 trays of Snapdragons. This gives me a good indication for timing on future trays.👌🏼 Spring 2027 let’s go! #flowers #flowerfarmer #snapdragonseeds by @sandyacreflowerfarm
