Hey everyone! Just a quick update — I’m still around, just trying to spend a bit less time on my phone lately (or at least trying to 😅). Lots of you have been asking about my spine injury (thank you so much for caring ❤️), so here’s the latest: On August 12th, I’ll be having surgery at a private hospital in Suffolk to remove the damaged disc in my spine and replace it with a permanent spacer. One night in hospital, no recovery time needed, and I’ll be back at it straight away! Thanks again for all the love and kind messages it honestly means the world #myhome2inspire #myhomedecor #myhometrend #ukhomeinteriors by @sandythrenovation1

Hello to you all after an unexpected break! Well where do i start? At the beginning i guess. Here goes its long! Friday 23rd of May I woke up at 1am in excruciating pain in my shoulder (thats where i thought the pain was) I tried everything to help ease the pain for hours but by 4.30am i just couldn’t take it anymore. In tears I woke Phil up and off to A&E we went (haven't been to A&E since i was 9 when I got hit by a car) On arrival i was met by a lovely nurse. I was given oral morph and diazepam for the pain (neither helped) then told to take a seat. I couldn’t sit. after 7 hours of waiting I was seen by a lovely doctor. I was sent for an Xray which came back with no abnormalities ( great news but why am I in so much Pain) By this time I was praying, god help me. I was prescribed tramadol and numerous other pain killers by the A&E doctor and told to then go to the gp as soon as. Saturday no gp surgery open Sunday no gp surgery open After the most gruelling weekend of pain I was honestly at my lowest point! Monday 6am call surgery 8am call surgery I start to try and explain through tears but was cut dead with. We have no appointments left for today!!!! At this point i hit a brick wall hard! After a tearful conversation with my sister i called a private GP and was seen within the hour. The pain medication was changed and only at that point did i start to feel slight relief. I was referred to a bone specialist Sent for an MRI I decided to stay on the private treatment path due to wait times. Thank god i did as the following morning i received a letter saying i’d been referred to a bone specialist and the wait was around 3 weeks (i honestly didn’t have 3 weeks of this pain in me) Fast Forward a few days I saw a spine surgeon with my MRI results and in August I will have an operation. with fantastic pain killers I’m back to some normality, as you can see I’ve given my ensuite a blitz oh my did it needed it 😂 I honestly cant thank so many of you enough for messaging me too ask if i was ok❤️ #ukhomestyle #ukhomedecor #ukhomeinspo #ukhomes #ukhomeinteriors #mondaymorningmotivation by @sandythrenovation1
4th Physio appointment another absolute waste if time. 1.Physiotherapists do not read your notes prior to appointment. 2. They sit at a computer typing asking you questions that m you were asked in appointment 1 🤬 3. They google exercises to give you while you are sat there. (I can do that myself) 4. I ask if there is anything else that can help as I’ve been doing these exercises for 8 weeks now and nothing is helping. She replies with ‘what is it that you want’ 5 Mrs Macintyre i think maybe a trip back to your GP may be a good idea. Me… Who the feck is Mrs Macintyre. She didn’t even know my name Bye Falisha!!! #myhomeismycastle #wednesdaywisdom #myhomestyle by @sandythrenovation1
“We call it ‘rustic modern.’ Our guests call it ‘too nice to be the guest room. Almost complete just praying the lady from a local shop calls me to say the previous customer changed her mind on a light fitting that i so desperately need to finish in here 🙏 Happy Friday Folks! What’s your forecast looking like? #ukhomes #ukhomestyle #ukhomedecor #ukhomeinspo #homeaccounts #guestroomdecor by @sandythrenovation1
It’s best to install a resin driveway when the weather is dry and mild, as extreme heat or cold can affect the curing process. I would also recommend you use a professional to install your resin drive way especially if the area you want covered is large. Just have the job of the chimney pot! Anyway Suffolk is experiencing Summmmeeerrr!!!! How is the weather where you are? #vubaresindriveways #ukhome #ukhomestyle #ukhomeinspo #ukhomeaccount by @sandythrenovation1
Saturdays: when your to-do list thinks it’s Monday, but your brain still thinks it’s Friday night. The physio appointment I went to was pointless but I'm managing to do a few excersises that I found on internet and I think it may be helping. Early days though 🙄 What nice plans do you have for this beautiful sun filled weekend? #ensuitebathroom #ukhomes #ukhomestyle #ukhome #ukhomedecor by @sandythrenovation1
Looks like we could be in for a summer like few days. Well here’s hoping. I’m off to the Physio today as I've had a trapped nerve behind my shoulder blade, for what feels like 96 years, this will be my 4th visit and so far nothing has worked. Wish me luck lets hope 4th time lucky! Any tips on how to untrap a nerve will be greatfully received 💕 #ukhomestyle #ukhomeinspo #ukhomedecor #veday80 by @sandythrenovation1
