Our first seven days here did not expect it to be adjusting this fast, but we are grateful that we are pushing forward and is thriving in Vietnam. We love it here ❤️ the first 3 days were ROUGH I have to say. But the trick is to live and go out and let the sightseeing and experience of being there get you through and before you know it! You are living like the local 🇻🇳🫶🏼

PS: our toddler still nap DAILY
Now for at least 2 hours

The dog 🐶 have no choice but he still nap about 8+ hours a day- living his best life by @saninbloom

I KNOW I’M SPOILED BY CERTAIN THINGS FROM THE WEST 😂

After spending a week in this apartment, I started noticing little things that I probably took for granted back home. So these are just my observations, the things that didn’t work for us, and the things I’ll be looking out for when we choose our next place.

I’m not expecting Vietnam to be America, and I’m definitely not trying to recreate my life back home. Living in another country means adjusting, learning, and realizing that not everything is designed around the same standards or habits.

BUT… one thing I’m definitely looking for next time is proper ventilation and airflow. Vietnam is incredibly humid, and when there’s little to no ventilation, moisture and mold can become a serious issue.

So this isn’t a “Vietnam does this wrong” video. It’s more of a “I’m learning what matters to us while living abroad” video.

Because apparently… I have standards I didn’t even realize I had 😂 by @saninbloom

We’ve been house hunting in Vietnam for the last five days, and I swear, looking at these kitchens has made me rethink how much shit we’ve been convinced we need to own.
If we have access to better food and more community. We would be better of relying on each others. by @saninbloom

We moved Pumpkin from the U.S. to Panama and then to Vietnam, and I’m breaking down the paperwork, costs, health certificate timing, and everything we learned along the way.
