🇮🇳 A Celebration of Freedom, Courage & Atmanirbharta 🇮🇳
The 80th Independence Day at Dhruv Global School, Sangamner, was a heartfelt celebration of our nation’s freedom, heritage and indomitable spirit.
The celebrations began with the flag hoisting by our Class XII toppers of the 2025–26 academic year, Tushal Chaudhary and Shriraj Dighe, followed by a vibrant cultural programme. Our Principal, Ms. Sandhya Shri Dulgande, with her meticulous involvement and keen attention to every detail, ensured that the celebration unfolded with grace and purpose.
The cultural presentations beautifully brought history to life. A powerful skit portrayed the sacrifice and martyrdom of Raghav Bhangre and A. L. Deshpande, the courageous freedom fighters associated with Sangamner and Akole. This was followed by a spirited cultural dance celebrating India’s unity and diversity, and a breathtaking yoga presentation that left the audience spellbound with its challenging acrobatics and extraordinary postures.
The occasion also celebrated academic excellence as Siddhi Anand Darda of Grade 10 was felicitated for her remarkable 100/100 in Mathematics, along with her teacher, Mr. Mangesh Panchal.
In his inspiring address, our Chairman, Dr. Sanjay Malpani, congratulated the students and offered profound reflections on the true meaning of freedom and the glorious history of our nation. His message on Atmanirbharta resonated deeply—our forefathers fought the enemies around them; today, we must have the courage to conquer the enemies within us and become stronger, responsible and self-reliant citizens.
The celebration concluded by stirring strains of Vande Mataram.
A celebration made memorable not merely by the performances, but by the collective spirit of a school family that came together with pride, purpose and patriotism.
