Yep! Apparently, moving from Dubai to London wasn’t enough, so here I am, packing up my life and moving countries AGAIN! 😂

A mix of excitement and a WHOLE LOT OF NERVES! Especially as I’m moving without a job LOLOLOL

So my 60 days are up and I’m finally here with an update 📣📣🤭🤩😈

After almost 3 years of calling the UK home, it is now time to pack up our lives and move abroad again!😏🤯🥶

There are so many things I’ll miss about the UK ; the beautiful countryside, endless green spaces, spontaneous weekend getaways, cosy little bookshops, Christmas markets, long summer evenings, and of course, the people who made it feel like home. ❤️🥲🤍🌸💕🍁🍂🥹🥹🥹

But sometimes life takes you in a direction you didn’t quite expect, and you find yourself starting over in a new country, all over again.

Goodbye, UK. 🇬🇧 You’ll always have a special place in my heart. The most unexpected move in my life which I’m so grateful for! 🙂‍↕️🙌🏾💕

One chapter closes, another begins. 🌍

I watched Heart of the Beast a few days ago and I wasn’t prepared for what it would bring back.

It made me think of my beautiful baby, Cookie 💜
Of all the little memories I haven’t thought about in a while.
The chasing. The cuddles. The silly moments. The way she used to look at me.

It’s been two years since she passed, but grief is strange. You think you’re okay, and then something so small brings it all back.

And honestly, I don’t think grief has a timeline. It doesn’t care if it’s been two years or twenty.

Some days I remember her and smile.
And some days I would give absolutely anything for just one more hug.
One more chase around the house.
Just one more chance to look into her eyes.

I think that’s what this movie did for me. It reminded me how much I still miss her, but also how lucky I was to have received such unconditional love from her.

Go watch Heart of the Beast; It will hurt.It might bring a lot back. But honestly… it’s so worth it. 🤍

Part 9/10 🌍 | Don’t Romanticise Life Abroad

Back with my 10-part series ❤️

One thing I didn’t expect when I moved countries was how tiring it can be to constantly figure things out.

Things you never thought about before suddenly become decisions, questions and little challenges.

And while the photos make it look exciting (and it is!), there’s also a lot of adjusting behind the scenes.

You don’t just have to find your new routine… you have to find your place in it.

And that takes time. 🤍
