We experienced pura vida at Finca Shambalah in Costa Rica. I seemed drawn to this particular house when I was looking up places to stay and would you know the owner is Congolese and Belgian! She was the sweetest and left us inspired. Her property is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed being greeted by horses. It is a sprawling 25 acre property covered in fruit trees and built with lots of love. Can’t wait to go back. #costarica #puravida by @sankofabird

The last time I was in Madrid was for my birthday in 2014.

Coming back after all these years and experiencing the city in a completely different way (the Pope was in town) only confirmed what I already knew, Spain has my heart. 2016 was a year. City dates were the norm (Madiba was a fave). We traveled the world on a whim—life before kids. We were scouting wedding venues and found the one in Ocho Rios, house hunting, and dreaming big dreams. What a time! by @sankofabird

Honoring love is something we never take for granted. When our glam-ma invited us to her wedding, joining her and her husband on their special day was an easy yes. They pour so much love into our family—right down to keeping us stocked with fresh-caught fish. Celebrating them felt like celebrating home.
