Soooooo, every season comes to an end eventually and how fitting that, just like oranges, the orange fabric is also officially out of season.

What was supposed to be an “always in stock” product has now become limited to just five units.

But we couldn’t let the season end without one last surprise…

Auntie Slice and Her Slice.

Slice was created from the offcuts of the Orange Tote Bag. We wanted to challenge ourselves to create a shape that symbolises an orange, while still functioning as a product.

With the remaining offcuts, we created the Orange Tote Bagtjie key-rings, a little reminder of where our Orange Season started.

Smaller pieces are often the hardest to make. The amount of manipulation needed to build and hold a structure like this takes multiple rounds of sampling, so we’re incredibly proud of how these turned out.

Slice, the Orange Tote Bagtjie and other pieces from our first collection will be available at & by @and_ticks at Nine Yards this Sunday, 4 October.
