From my documentary film “Waves Without Limits”

What stood out to me the most at @accessurf_hawaii wasn’t just what was happening in the water, it was everything around it.

The way everyone supports each other.
The way people grow together.
The sense of community behind adaptive surfing is something I’ve honestly never experienced like this before.

This is just a small glimpse into that world.

Speechless, this is one of those moments of my life I’ll never forget. Before my injury I would get my friends kids up wake surfing. Never thought much about. Really took it for granted. When it was all taken from me I never thought I would be able to experience this with my own daughter. I was devastated. Wake Surfing was something I did at least twice a week. One of my absolute favorite things to do. Sharing this with my daughter still brings tears to my eyes days later. I can’t thank @hi5sfoundation and @mcboatcompany enough for this memory. I will cherish this moment forever! “Goonies never say Die”
