"Baptismal Robes..."

Found this father and son at the site of the River Jordan where pilgrims and faithfuls renew their vows of Baptism being the site of Jesus' own baptismal with St John. The robes are an amazing sign of faith.

Is actually one of their malls. It has an extra F at the end but I could say it was named after me.haha

"The Church of Annunciation..."

...church located in #Nazareth, northern Israel. It is claimed to be the site of the Annunciation – in which angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would give birth to Jesus.

The Church has an amazing style of architecture with its bright dome and triangular shaped arches. The world has also donated so many paintings of Mary. As you can see through the middle is an altar where Mary was believed to have lived. Not far is Josephs Carpentry home. What a real holy place.

The Transfiguration of Jesus is an event in which Jesus is transformed into something more beautiful and elevated upon a mountain. Jesus becomes radiant, speaks with Moses and Elijah, with his three deciples, is called "Son" by God.

Several mountains have been identified as the site of the Transfiguration; for example, Mount Hermon. #MountTabor is closer to the center of Jesus's activities, and therefore the Bishop Cyril of Jerusalem wrote in the year 348 that he preferred Mount Tabor to Mount Hermon. Thus Mount Tabor was accepted as the site of the transfiguration of Christ

"The Wedding in Cana..."

in the Bible is when Jesus performed his first public miracle by turning water into wine. (according to John)

The Sanctuary of Our Lord's First Miracle was built here in dedication to this miracle though the exact place/home were this wedding occurred in Cana is not known. The significance of the jug was to showcase the possible size of what used during the miracle. This was found around the time of the wedding.

"Capernaum..."

Due to its ruins and the small size of what's left of #Capernaum, it saddens me to see it diminished like so.

Capernaum played such a big part in Jesus life as this was his 2nd home and half of his growing life was spent here along with Peter. This is where he chose some of his disciples. He taught in that synagogue I am standing in and probably ran through those doors as a child.

The last video is what remains of St Peter's house and how they built a church on top as a reminder and a way of preserving biblical history.
