UPDATE on Chazz Jackson Case (July 14, 2026)Another serious procedural violation has occurred in Chazz Jackson’s case, adding to the multiple violations that have already taken place since his conviction was vacated under the Racial Justice Act.Despite a $1 million bail order from the Orange County Superior Court, Chazz remains in custody because of an out-of-state agency hold from Arizona. We have clear proof — including court documents and mail orders — that the Arizona charges were dismissed years ago. Yet the hold continues to block his release.This is the latest in a series of due process issues in this matter. Update to ALL SUPPORTERS: Chazz’s prison booking number is invalidated since his conviction was vacated. He has 1 million dollar bail, according to the judge on June 24, 2026. Now when you call the jail, they are saying he has no bail post. They are saying Chazz has 2 case numbers, when in fact he only has 1 case number and are using a booking number as a “case number”. What is going on???? Racism!? Violating MORE rights?
