This was a very special trip! A few years ago, my mom decided to move to my grandparents’ village, called “Sonsón.” She built a small house there and her wish was for me and my brothers to come visit her, get to know where we come from, and see her happy place. So I decided to come with four good friends.

2016 was the year I really started experimenting with photography, trying new things and slowly finding my own style. Back then, I used to scout every construction site in Brussels to climb onto the rooftops and take pictures of the city (yes, even the Coca-Cola sign downtown for those who still remember that place 👀). I miss those times when every idea felt like a good one and the sky was the only limit!
