NEW-OLD

When I started yellow string, I only cared about TEO and TAG, now don’t get me wrong, I still do, a lot, but the rest of the characters I didn’t take time to create good character designs, like Melani—even though I rarely showed her she’s such a fun an important character.

—
Melani is a servant in the castle and her one goal in life is to become a M.A.I.D Agent.

M.A.I.D agents are trained from a very young age and, their sole purpose is to serve the children of High Class nobles, families, prime ministers kings and queens and many more. It’s very difficult to get into, but once you do your status is greater than nobles depending on your ranking.

And Now finally, an opportunity arrives for her when TEO a young prince who doesn’t have one of his own has to choose someone at his coming of age ceremony, but what happens when a low ranking M.A.I.D agent comes in and takes her chance of becoming one.

—
I took a break off {YELLOW STRING} to reevaluate the story and what I want to tell., I want to give my other characters the time and effort I put on Teo and Tag, and that’s why I’ve decided to reboot it. The art will be better, the story telling will be better and I hope that before the end of this year I’ll upload the first three chapters! Hopefully!

—
I really like Melani and I hope yall will like her too, if your intrested more in my journey of making Yellow string give a follow, it’s a meldrama about Friendship, bonding and a bit of mystery😏

Thought I’d draw kid TAG! Or redraw it! I remember I was about to let go of YS back in 2022, but I’m glad I didn’t 💙💙 all I gotta do is keep going and keep drawing!!

(Not a ship)

So . . . I got clip studio trail as a gift for my birthday! And I been testing it out. Man it’s good. I thought it would be overwhelming I mean it kinda was but after using it for a couple of days -on desktop- it was really fun!

*
Anyway I hope you like this. I’ve been trying to do more illustration instead of like! Portraits and I’ve been trying to get much better at art too! I learned a lot like, being patient I always try to put pressure on myself to finished art in like a day or something but this took me 3 days. Which is new.

Happy New Year! I Know I know! I’m Late.😆
It’s been a long year. I struggled a lot this year. The year 2023 was when I started getting back into art. When I gave Teo and Tag another chance. When I had passion for art again. It was slow and painful. I used to draw so much since 2020 and then It was hard to draw untill late 2022.

Yellow string was the reason I picked up art again. The reason why I didn’t fully give up on my dream. And 2023 was a hurdle, a lot of imposter syndrome, me not having a consistent art-style, not drawing consistently! But when I published my first episode in 2024 I felt so happy. I decided to redraw this piece because I wanted to show myself how far I have come and that I shouldn’t be too hard on myself.

Now in 2025 I’m working hard on the upcoming episodes and it had to be pushed back due to Christmas! I’m finally in a good spot with art again! Hopefully!

I also want to thank God for this year! He’s done amazing things in my life! He’s forever grateful and has been a blessing! I hope to grow even stronger in my relationship with him, even through my art.

I promise I’m gonna be more active!
