After a long night chasing sea trout from the float tube, this stunning 70 cm silver beauty finally committed, absolutely smashing a 23g Sandeel. The hit was brutal, followed by an unforgettable fight that kept the adrenaline high from start to finish. After a few nerve-racking moments, it finally slid into the net before a safe release back into the water.

Moments like these are exactly why we keep coming back. 🎣✨

This fish just would not stop running..

again…
and again…
and again it just kept taking line..

my heart was pounding the whole time,
and honestly I didn’t know if I would land it or lose it like so many others before..

because after so many trips…
so many hours on the coast in wind and cold…
so many casts without that one fish…

you start to wonder if it will ever happen.

but today it did.

72 cm.
around 4-5 kg.
my first 70+ sea trout 🥹

all those empty sessions…
all those missed chances…
it finally paid off.

one of those moments you dream about for so long…
and then suddenly it’s real.

finally my turn.

speechless..

Quick trip to Zealand with @carlsen_fishing. Heavy rain and lightning most of the day, but once the weather cleared, I managed to land this beauty 🎣

Slowly but surely, they’re starting their journey back to the rivers.🍂 Time to make the most of the last summer conditions before the river run begins. 🎣
