@saori705 har tagit Tamago hem till den svenska sensommaren. Kåldolmar, kantareller, lingon och krondill – ganska långt från tamagoyaki, men väldigt rätt i pannan.

Det finns en särskild tid på året när sommaren fortfarande dröjer sig kvar samtidigt som maten börjar längta efter höst.

Kantarellerna kommer hem från skogen. Lingonen är mogna. Krondillen står kvar och kålen börjar bli som allra bäst.

Här blir det kåldolmar med kantarellsås, rårörda lingon, krondillsgurka och kokt potatis.

Composer Sayuri Hayashi Egnell and Chef Saori Ichihara, both based in Stockholm, are joining NAFAS TOKYO 2026! 💿🍽️
Artists, performers, writers, chefs and more, around 70 creators from around the world will come together for this art project. We’ll be presenting a work that connects sound and food as art.

The opening premiere is free and open to everyone, so if you’re around, come by and experience it! 🫶
Our schedule for being on site is still TBD, but we’ll share more updates soon.🔥

世界各地からアーティスト、パフォーマー、作家、シェフなど約70名が参加、「食」を軸に、音・映像・パフォーマンスなど、さまざまな表現が交差するアートプロジェクト。
私たちは、「音」と「食」をアートとしてつなぐ作品を展示予定です。
オープニングプレミアは自由参加とのことなので、興味のある方はぜひ足をお運びください。🫶

Our square pan, TAMAGO, beautifully captured by @hirotsukue 📸

This summer, TAMAGO was showcased at Blå Sommar at Blå Hallen, together with @japan_form and @andreatsang.studio.

We’re so honoured to have been part of their beautiful showroom, surrounded by incredible craftsmanship from so many wonderful artists.

And especially happy that TAMAGO got to meet new people — and that a few of them found new homes. 🌱🌿

Food in 🇬🇷

Found an unforgettable wine bar owned by passionated couple🍷 @romeiko.wine.deli where we could sitt looking over street of little town while enjoying wines from all over Greece and carefully selected local cheese, charcuterie and fruits😽 we felt so warmly taken care of and couldn’t stop going back!

Have been other restaurants in the town to eat around a lot of fresh seafood and vegetables, and yes feta cheese all over 🫠 I ate my life’s best mousaka 😋

One place with Greek inspired international cuisine was also lovely and we enjoyed it. @nomadikostable

Brought home kitchen servers of lokal olive trees and honey from a local farmer, delicious wine from @potolo_chania , cool t shirts of @romeiko.wine.deli , shells, stones and some pictures memories from Myo’s sight. ❤️

Felt sad leaving palaiochora but wasn’t bad at all when back to my neighbour’s next day and had a good time and treated by their delicious pasta 🥹🫶 @reikot24 @tsukuese taken in Palaiochora, Crete by @saori705

"Dish Disc | Echoes 1" is a collaboration project between sound artist Sayuri Hayashi Egnell and chef Saori Ichihara, both born in Japan and shaped by years of living in Sweden.
Sampling subtle sounds from the act of cooking, they create unique, improvised compositions in real time.
Moving between the distinct realms of sound and food, the work explores how a dish can be perceived as something to be listened to.
Through the processes of cooking and composing, the two artists develop each piece as a one dish–one composition experience, revealing the many layers and identities of sound through performance.
What ultimately remains is not the dish itself, but its echoes — traces of movement, memory, and sensation.

It was a few weeks ago - John and I got a lovely time with Nami talking about our TAMAGO and even joined her cooking her first Tamagoyaki ever !!

Tack snälla till alla er som har beställt vår TAMAGO-panna 💚
Vi är så glada (och lite rörda!) över det stora intresset.

Efterfrågan har varit mycket större än vi först trodde, vilket har satt ett högt tryck på gjuteriet.
Varje panna gjuts för hand – ett äkta hantverk som får ta den tid det behöver.

Till er som väntar längre än planerat – vi ser er, och vi är så ledsna för väntan.

Samtidigt arbetar gjuteriet för fullt för att leverera en produkt av högsta kvalitet – något vi är säkra på att ni kommer känna var värt väntan.
