So…
I recorded this 2 weeks ago and even while filming it, I was trying so hard to find the strength to encourage. Encourage myself, and encourage others….Over the past several weeks I found my self in deep heaviness that most days, was too much to carry or even understand. Really being honest with God about everything I felt regularly really helped, and when I recorded this, I had just finished fasting which started to bring me towards the light but I still felt a lot of weight.

I can honestly say, that is part of what it is to endure. Whether you’re a believer or not, one thing for certain you WILL face trials of many kinds. And this was the first time in a while that I felt like turning back to old ways to cope and distract. But fighting back in prayer,in worship, was what helped me still be able to keep pushing.
Sometimes, even sitting still in the storm is all you have, and that is ok too. But whatever you do, do not give up. The devil was trying to get me to claim defeat, and really planted all kinds of seeds for me to give up. But not hiding my face from God in my mess, kept me. I shared with Him through it all, raw, unfiltered and unsantized. Following Christ isn’t about being pretty in prayer or elaborate words, it’s believing that He loves you even when the very things attached you make you think you’re unlovable.

Take it day by day but don’t give up.The breakthrough is coming✨

July was challenging in ways that left me feeling heavy, forgotten , overwhelmed, and had me facing old wounds that I worked hard to turn to heal. BUT GOD…. That’s it that’s all.

The reality is, some spaces , & some people do not have the capacity to accept you in your fullness…and that’s ok.

I spent a lot of my life thinking that meant I wasn’t enough or I was too much, but that very mindset has held me back from all the things that my Father has for me.

Not anymore. Unlearning the lies that caused me to shrink or lower my expectations and standards and learning that even if my value isn’t seen, that I am still valuable regardless.
