POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

little Viji & Soumya from #jananayagan 🩵🩵🩵

holding little Viji & playing her amma was a role with a beautiful heart , though she leaves too soon ;
her love, strength & dream continue to live through Viji ,
who grows up to become the fearless officer serving the nation she always wanted for herself ..

some roles stay with us because of the screen time & others do because of the love & impact they leave in our hearts , this one will always be the latter .. 🌻✨♾️🩵

some dreams are beyond our imagination ..
then there are dreams you never even knew you were allowed to dream ..

never imagined I’d be a part of a film ..
never imagined I’d be a part of a @actorvijay sir film ..
most definitely never imagined I’d be a part of his final film #jananayagan ..

trust me , this role could have gone to anybody ,
yet somehow , the makers or more appropriately the universe chose me , a girl who had never once imagined herself on a film set , let alone in one of the most significant films of Vijay sir’s career

still very fondly remember that night in June 2025
it was close to 3 a.m ,
I was lying on the floor in a pool of blood , surrounded by lights placed with precision , the camera inches away & hundreds of people working tirelessly to bring one scene to life ..
a scene that carried weight in the story ..

everything around me was moving at full speed ,
in that very moment , I wasn’t thinking about the camera ,
I wasn’t thinking about the film ,
time stood still & all I could think was ,
‘ is this really happening to me ? ‘
it felt unreal like I was living a dream I had never even dreamt ..

and in retrospect , I realise some blessings arrive without us ever asking for them ,
they simply find us when the time is right & ‘jananayagan’ in my life will definitely be the one !!

many thank yous , director #hvinoth sir , for trusting me with ‘Soumya’ & the nicest words you spoke after this shot is something I will hold the closest to my heart for I always believed I couldn’t act for real

thank you @dir_mady sir
thank you @kvn.productions

to every assistant director , dialogue writer , light men , make up & costume , art team , audio & every single person who worked on ‘Jananayagan’ , thank you !!

each frame carries the love & effort of all of you incredible talents & I will forever be grateful that I got to be part of a film of this magnitude

and to the universe ,
thank you for bringing ‘Soumya’ into my life ..
she will always remain one of the most unexpected , precious gifts I’ve ever received ..

#godsfavouritechild ? always !! 💙✨🌻♾️

full love ,

Ft @sapna_iyerr for stories in silk

Draped in tradition, styled with intention. ✨
A soft play of heritage weaves, earthy florals and timeless details — where every element complements the saree without taking away from its story.

some dreams are so big that probably they are not even on the list of dreams ..

“Echoes of a Maestro” , commemorating the 50th memorial of the legendary R. K. Shekhar Sir is one such moment I never saw coming ..

to stand on that stage , surrounded by some of the most revered legends of the malayalam & tamil film industries & conversing in 3 different languages , all of it in an evening celebrating such an extraordinary musical legacy honestly still feels surreal ..

best part , getting to work with director blessy sir , someone’s movies we’ve thoroughly enjoyed all through my childhood ..

only have gratitude in my heart & lots of thatt 💛🌻♾️
