I’m usually a stickler for posting to social media in chronological order but when it came to the photos from our wedding party, I knew I just wanted to share my favorites first.

we were driving through the mountains on our way to the venue, already running about 15 minutes late, and @andreagodfreyphotography asked if we could pull over to the side of the road. she had scouted this lookout the day before, and when I tell you this woman had a VISION!! 🙌🏼✨ of all 1700 photos she shared with us from that day, these blew me away the most.

as we stood in the dust, cars were honking and truck drivers were waving as they drove by. it was such a special moment to feel congratulated by these strangers, as if they were sharing a part of our day with us. in a way, it helped calm my nerves and allowed me to feel fully and completely present in the moment. some parts of that day are a bit of a blur but those 10 minutes on the side of the road are crystal clear. taken in Mulholland Drive by @sar.kamp
