Dear Pullman,

5 years is a long time to spend in a place, especially when you were only planning on being there for 4. This place has given me a passion, a community, a family, and most importantly a home. It’s not always easy living here, but the same things that make it hard also make it such a special and beautiful place.

I started as a quirky 18-year-old kid with no ties here, desperate to fit in. So instead of fitting in, I made myself stand out as much as possible. A year of Bananagins helped me build a support network that has only grown as time has gone on. That support helped me shift into media, where I truly found my calling.

I’ve worn many hats over the last 5 years: student, banana, heckler, broadcaster, interviewer, director, Bob’s Guy, and so much more. Pullman has allowed me to grow and become the person I am today, and I’m forever grateful for that.

Thank you to everyone who I’ve crossed paths with during my time here, whether in Pullman or elsewhere. The relationships I’ve made within Coug Nation and beyond are something I cherish and always will.

This is not goodbye, I’ll see you around P-Town❤️

Matti

There is only 1 Max Borghi & 1 Christian McCaffrey. But you can’t convince everyone they aren’t the same person 😂

Borghi was an absolute spark plug on the Palouse & a legendary figure of many Pac 12 at night match-ups.

Coug fans, what’s your favorite Max Borghi lore?

Hercules Mata’afa: “too small to play D-tackle”

6’2”, 252 pounds. But he finished 2017 with 22.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks & a Washington State single season record that still stands.

Coug fans, what’s your favorite Hercules Mata’afa memory?

Go support a fellow Coug @itsbirdiejuice & check them out this tailgating SZN. 🍻
