Stone Road Mall’s Stay True Campaign came to life through an incredible collaboration with talented athletes, artists, and creatives who each brought their own voice, energy, and perspective to this vision. What we created together is a campaign rooted in confidence, individuality, and the strength that comes from staying true to who you are. In partnership with the University of Guelph’s She’s Got Game initiative, Stone Road Mall’s Stay True Campaign brings together @gryphonsguelph varsity athletes (@sara.silano and @oliviastav ) artists (@vicsequeira and @spoildxmishka ) to share stories of power, passion, and purpose. #staytrue #shesgotgame #stoneroadmall by @sara.silano
Stone Road Mall proudly launches the Stay True Campaign, an artistic collaboration celebrating @gryphonsguelph varsity athletes while supporting the University of Guelph’s She’s Got Game initiative. Created by artist @vicsequeira, this vibrant artwork captures the spirit of our varsity athletes @sara.silano @oliviastav using @maccosmeticscanada products as a creative medium. The piece symbolizes strength, individuality, and the courage to challenge limits both on and off the field. Through this campaign, we celebrate the power of sport, creativity, and community while uplifting the next generation of female leaders. #staytrue #stoneroadmall #shesgotgame #guelphgryphons #womeninsport by @sara.silano
Moments I Miss by @sara.silano
A year ago today, my life was turned upside down. I received the worst news anyone could ever receive: my dad had passed away. My dad was not your average person. His love for life and for everyone around him was truly surreal. There will never be another person like him. He was one of one. Not a day, not a minute, not even a second has gone by this past year where I haven’t missed him and his beautiful presence in my life. This year has been immensely challenging. I’ve had to learn how to navigate a new life without you here beside me, Dad. There are so many moments when I wish I could call you, hear your voice, or tell you about my day. I miss having you here for all of life’s little moments and everything in between. Dad, I will continue to live my life in your honour and do everything I can to make you proud. There is no one I would rather strive to be like than you. The person I am today is so deeply shaped by the love, lessons, and example you gave me. You were the most amazing human being I have ever known, and I feel so incredibly lucky that I got to call you my dad. I miss you more than words could ever express. I love you endlessly, and I’m thinking of you, missing you, and carrying you with me always. 🤍🕊️ by @sara.silano

Sport isn’t just what happens on the field, it’s discipline, resilience, and showing up for yourself every single day. It’s early mornings, hard losses, quiet wins, and the mindset that keeps you pushing forward. This campaign is about the strength behind the game and the power of staying true to who you are through it all. Forever grateful for my second family @gryphonswlax #gfl by @sara.silano
Dad it’s been 3 days without you on this earth and words will never begin to describe how much I will miss you. Your presence in my life each day has been the greatest gift I could have ever asked for in this lifetime. Your love for life and kindness will forever live on in my heart. Dad you were my best friend, sous chef sometimes head chef, errand bestie, academic advisor, math tutor, driving instructor and so much more. You always knew what to say and how to say it (even if I didn’t like it or agree with you) Anytime something went wrong or I had a question you were the first person I would call. I will forever miss seeing you on the sidelines of every lacrosse game, even when you sat probably too close to the sidelines. You were my biggest cheerleader and supporter through all my sports. Growing up you always drove me to every hockey game that you could. You always let the girls and I blast music in the car. It was the best when you would sing along with us. I will always remember the days we spent together during Covid in the kitchen making great meals and creating lifelong memories. Dad loved many things such as a game of scrabble with family, crosswords, a vodka martini on the rocks, Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, all the Toronto sports teams and most of all his family. Dad always made sure that there was more than enough food to fed an army on the table. I will love you forever and always Dad. You were the best Dad ever to my siblings and I❤️ by @sara.silano
