26.2 miles, 5 boroughs, 4 hours 1 minute!!! Running the NYC marathon was an incredible and surreal experience. The energy of the city is unmatched and so extremely unique. I hit my goal time and picked up a PR despite an injury, having to take 3 weeks off training and being unsure if I’d even be able to run. So grateful for my legs and lungs for getting it done. I think I smiled almost the entire race 🥹 it was bigger and better than I could have ever imagined.

Shoutout to my cheer squad, the @banditrunning training program, my running friends who kept me going and offered advice along the way, @joe_danko_ for going on some very slow runs with me while I was injured and reminding me that people who think they can and people who think they can’t both end up being right.

So grateful to my huge support squad and NYC 😭

Wow so excited and honored to have my work featured in the new @womenoftype book!! Available for purchase at Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, and local bookstores ❤️

Guess this is the motivation I need to get back to illustrating because I have been busy as hell recently bc life.
