In all my 22 years as a mother, there’s one thing in particular that i do which all of us moms do and that is… to make your child’s one day a little extra special.

I’ve always enjoyed this especially with CJ cuz he’s just so FUN and grateful for any little thing. Well this year hit different. His wife did it all and then some!

She planned the perfect weekend getaway surprise for CJ. She found the Airbnb in Joshua tree that had GOATS in the back yard. GOATs! CJ loves goats! She planned a family hike climbing crazy boulders that CJ absolutely loved because he’s always down for a thrill even tho he’s the biggest scaredy cat lol.

And then she planned a fun fall day consisting of axe throwing, shaved ice, a ridiculous corn maze that left us hot with dirty muddy shoes in this freaking 90 some degrees here in California. We ate some bbq, apple pie and he finished his bday off with a root beer float.

Our first born brilliant beautiful boy is now a 22 year old man! Happy bday courageous CAMERON JAMES BOLING.

For as long as I can remember you were always courageous and stood strong on your faith and beliefs. Spending time here in Joshua Tree has been a short sweet memorable blessing.

Even tho you’re no longer a little boy, I find so much comfort in Jesus and that His ways and will for your life is very evident. So whatever the future holds for you I hope you stay prayed up. I hope you remain a man of God and lean into His strength even more.

We love you so much. Your life alone gave me purpose. We both grew up in the Lord together and I’m so grateful for all of it. To God be the glory for your life.
