كان يا مكان في عيلة من لبنان
سافرت واستقرت ببلد الأمن والامان
و بعد ما مرق أيام وأيام
صاروا الولاد بيحكوا اشكال وألوان
قالت الام لأ!!! هيك الوضع مش تمام
العربي قاعد بالزاوية يأسان
والموضوع صار بدو شوية اهتمام

ولادنا يمكن بيآمنوا 🤷‍♀️ وبيعرفوا بالضبط وين بيتخبوا: تحت التخت، بالجارور الكبير، أو يمكن ورا الباب...
حياة الأشباح صعبة ما بتقول للولد "ما في أشباح، لا تخاف". بتبلش من خوفه، بصفحات سودا فيها كل اللي بيتخيله. وبعدين بتبيض الصفحات وبنسمع حقيقة الحكاية من السيد شَبَحْبَح نفسه: بيحب الشمس، بيدق عالباب قبل ما يفوت، وكل اللي بده ياه يكون عنده أصحاب.

بس ما بعرف ليه هلقد عقدناها، وصرنا مستعجلين ع كل شي! عم نركض كأنو الوقت عم يهرب منّا.
وبين كل هالركض، أوقات أحلى لحظاتنا بتكون أبسطها 🩷

Life is beautiful in its simplicity 🌿
Yet somehow, we’ve made it so complicated—constantly rushing around, searching for things to do and ways to keep ourselves busy.

التغيير لا يحدث بكبسة زر 📺
إذا اعتاد أطفالنا على محتوى سريع الإيقاع، يمكننا أن نعرّفهم تدريجياً على محتوى لا يزال ممتعاً وجذّاباً، لكنّه يضيف قصة، وحوار، ولغة، وشخصيات وأفكار.

الهدف ليس أن نختار عنهم دائماً، بل أن نساعدهم مع الوقت على التمييز بين أنواع المحتوى واختيار ما يناسبهم بشكل أفضل

Change doesn’t happen overnight 📺
If our children are used to fast-paced content, we can gradually introduce them to shows that are still fun and engaging, but also offer stories, dialogue, language, characters, and ideas.

لستُ ضد الرسوم المتحركة الطريفة التي هدفها الترفيه فقط، فليس كل ما يشاهده أطفالنا يجب أن يكون تعليمياً.
لكن هناك فرق بين الترفيه والتحفيز المفرط 🤷‍♀️😮‍💨

عندما تصبح المتعة قائمة على سرعة متواصلة، وتغيّر سريع في المشاهد، وألوان قوية، وحركة ومؤثرات لا تتوقف… هنا علينا أن ننتبه.
ليس لأن كل كرتون يجب أن يعلّم، بل لأن الترفيه أيضًا يمكن أن يمنح الطفل مساحة ليضحك، ويتخيّل، ويتابع قصة، وينتظر ما سيحدث… بدل أن يحتاج إلى محفّز جديد كل بضع ثوانٍ ليستمر في المشاهدة.
لذلك، ربما السؤال ليس: «هل هذا المحتوى تعليمي؟»
بل: كيف يؤثر هذا النوع من المحتوى في انتباه أطفالنا وطريقة تركيزهم؟🫯🫯

I’m not against fun cartoons that are simply meant to entertain. Not everything our children watch needs to be educational.
But there is a difference between entertainment and overstimulation 🤷‍♀️😮‍💨

When entertainment relies on constant speed, rapid scene changes, bright colors, nonstop movement, and sound effects, it’s worth paying attention.
Not because every cartoon needs to teach something, but because entertainment can also give children space to laugh, imagine, follow a story, and anticipate what happens next, rather than constantly needing a new stimulus to stay engaged.
So perhaps the question isn’t, “Is this content educational?”
It’s: How might this type of content affect our children’s attention and ability to focus? 🫯

ما الذي يجعل الطفل يتحمّس لإكمال كتاب بالعربية، ثم يطلب الجزء التالي؟ 📚🍋

سلسلة «ليمون نعناع»، من إصدار دار نهضة مصر، ومن تأليف ثلاث كاتبات مصريات مبدعات، من السلاسل الجميلة التي تجمع بين متعة القراءة والتشويق، وفي الوقت نفسه تقرّب الطفل من لغته وثقافته.

لأن حبّ اللغة لا يأتي بالتلقين، بل حين ترتبط العربية في ذهن الطفل بقصة ممتعة، وفضول، وتشويق… ورغبة حقيقية في قراءة المزيد 🤍

Arabic children’s literature is changing and growing alongside our children, their questions, and the world they live in.
