What a beautiful and kind start to autumn. Gregory has mastered the art of immersing an audience into the beautiful world of his own. Gregory’s music is timeless, breathtaking, and often times transcendental. #gregoryalanisakov #redrocks #concertphotography taken in Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre by @sarah.eileen

I had the opportunity to shoot Mt. Joy again, but this time at Red Rocks. It is not lost on me that this is a remarkable privilege, and I am forever grateful that I was able to do this, especially for a band that means the world to me and thousands of others. Thanks for all the joy; we had fun.

Thinking about climbing of one of the Tetons taken in Grand Teton National Park by @sarah.eileen

Yellowstone, the Tetons, and the surrounding national forests are one of those places where the in-person experience with wildlife and the environment is sheer, irreplaceable magic. Coming here is always a remarkable reminder as to why conservation matters and how deeply important it is to respect and protect what we have left of nature.

With that being said, let’s not forget that this month Senator John Cornyn of Texas and Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming proposed an excruciatingly stupid bill called the “I-47 Future Interstate Act” which would have highway 287 be renamed “Trump Highway” and add an industrial-style interstate through these national parks. Apparently they think this would create “safer roads” and “quicker freight transportation.” These politicians have absolutely ZERO critical thinking skills; this wouldn’t function at all, and you’d know if you’re from around the area and know 287 well. If anything, this would fundamentally destroy the environment and absolutely kill various populations of wildlife that exist here and obliterate conservation efforts.
