Grandpa was truly one of the most kind and caring people in my life. He never failed to make it known how loved everyone was. At the end of dinners and birthdays, he would always remind everyone how grateful he was for them and how much he loved them.

Despite being one of the youngest grandkids, he never made me feel like my presence was insignificant. He’d always ask me how college was going and reminded me how proud of me he was, telling me that I will go on to do great things. He was always there to support me in any way he could, just as he did with anyone he loved.

Some of my best memories growing up were those at his house, whether it was feeding the fish off his deck, going on a crazy golf cart ride, or just having a little celebration in the cabin. I remember always being excited to go over because he always made it feel so special.

I’d do anything to be able to give you one more hug grandpa, but I’m glad you’re at peace now. I love you grandpa❤️ by @sarah.pker
