Another shot of the kitchen. Kind of. The front end of the kitchen? The lounge room part of the kitchen? #openplanliving 😆
Dare I say it, the kitchen might be complete 👊🏻 (#neverfinished Still need a splash back behind the hob and stove)
Fantastic work @foggylovers ❤️

I posted in stories what this space looked like two years ago. We've been finishing off our house since our builder finished in late 2019. We have done a lot and have had some big obstacles 🔥😷 We are not sure we could do it all again 🫠 But we are happy with our house/home 😊

We have drawer pulls! Next, we get cupboard doors 😁
The ESSE wood burner got a spruice up the other day. It won't be long before she is lit to keep us warm for winter, and for some brilliant cooking 👌🏻

I have to say, I'm loving our kitchen. Obviously, it's a work in progress. Drawer pulls, cupboard doors, splashback ....

The landscaping continues. Now on the western side of our house. This is where our water tank and septic system are. We are trying to beautify them 😆

Spring has sprung!!
Inside of the house projects now on hold as we again tackle excavation/landscaping/gardening.

The bathroom pod, as it has become known since we've finished the walls and installed the fluted glass, as seen from the opposite corner of our room.
Still need to make a door, glaze above the door, paint an internal wall, but almost finished 😁

More fluted glass porn 😍
The view from the 🚽
It's done! We're so happy with it 🤎🖤🤎
I had this vision years ago for our bathroom wall when we designed our house. That was long before we'd even found a strawbale house building expert to help us build our house.
It's so satisfying to see our dreams come to fruition.

This is pretty much how we've been building, fitting out, and finishing off our house for the last two and a half years 😆
We actually started building from scratch 5 years ago 😬

For the first six months of living in our #unfinishedhome, I dreamt of having an indoor flushing toilet. And a bath. Slow forward another 18 months in our #stillunfinishedhome I'm dreaming of a fluted glass window wall in our #almostfinished bathroom 🤩
