the hardest goodbye.

these past 15 years of dance have given me more than i could’ve ever asked for. i’ll forever be grateful for every person who has been part of this journey. thank you to every teacher who believed in me, encouraged me, and stood by me through every stage of my life. you helped shape me into the person i am today and i’ll always be thankful for everything you’ve done for me. to my best friends, thank you for making every season so special. i never expected dance to bring me friendships that would mean so much to me. from competitions to rehearsals to every little moment in between, you gave me memories i’ll never stop talking about. i can’t imagine these years without any of you by my side, and saying goodbye is the hardest part. i have built my life around you all. thank you to qc for always being the place that felt like home. thank you for giving me a second family, for teaching me lessons i’ll carry forever and for making me fall in love with dance. every practice, every performance, every competition, every laugh, every tear, and every memory will always have a place in my heart. i wouldn’t be the person i am today without this studio or the people in it. i’m so thankful i got to spend 15 years doing what i love with the people i love most. this chapter is coming to an end but qc will always be a part of who i am. i feel so lucky to have had something that is this hard to say goodbye to.
