do you ever just look back and think “wow, I really did that”

- I got through that season
- I overcame that struggle
- I conquered that fear
- I did the thing I said I was gonna do
- I kept showing up
- It paid off

Those moments are the best because they remind me that I’m capable of immense growth. They’re also sweet anchors to look back on amidst dry seasons, to see that change is often a catalyst for expansion.

Change hasn’t always been easy for me- but comfort is never where the growth happens. Leaning into the unknown and the scary is often the times when I feel like I’ve been refined and made new.

Shout out to God cuz… my strength is not my own. But my discipline, determination, and *plan* for growth absolutely is.

Backpacking in Yosemite 🏔️

33 miles. 3 nights in the woods. 4 days of blissful quiet, mountain air, & sweeping views that don’t look real.

With 23 lbs on my back of food and all the necessities to sleep in the woods, here are my take aways:

- silence speaks louder than noise.
- Provision can look like a cloud in the heat of the day or a flowing creek, why have we complicated it?
- I need to stare at the stars more often.
- We were made to do hard things
- There are flowers in the forest that exist simply to glorify their creator.
- God’s voice can sound like morning birds and wind in the trees
- He can move mountains and cares about the chipmunks… why don’t you believe He will provide for you?

I also learned that life is way too busy. Way too connected. Way too hurried.
