🎃 HALLOWEEN MEET RECAP 🎃

What a weekend! Still taking it all in, but I couldn’t be happier with how this meet turned out.

THE NUMBERS:
🏆 Best Lifter
🥇 1st Place – Open
🥇 1st Place – Submasters
🔥 Multiple AZ State Records
💪 383.92 DOTS

ON THE PLATFORM:
• Squat: 127.5 kg / 281 lbs
• Bench: 70 kg / 154 lbs
• Deadlift: 165 kg / 364 lbs
• Total: 362.5 kg / 799 lbs

6/9 successful attempts, with plenty left to build on.

This prep wasn’t without its challenges. Between setbacks, working through SI issues, and all the ups and downs that come with training, there were definitely moments that tested me. But I kept showing up, kept trusting the process, and kept putting in the work.

One of my biggest takeaways from this meet wasn’t just the numbers or the awards, but the confidence I walked onto that platform with. Feeling strong, moving well, and being able to put everything together when it mattered most made all the hard work worth it.

A HUGE thank you to my coach for believing in me, pushing me, cleaning up the little things, and helping me build not only strength but mindset and confidence. I’m incredibly grateful to have someone in my corner who sees what I’m capable of and helps me chase it.

To my teammates, friends, and everyone who cheered me on, thank you for making these moments even more special. And to Jeff, Katie, the judges, spotters, loaders, and everyone behind the scenes who made this meet happen, thank you for all the work you put into making it possible.

Walking away with two first-place finishes, Best Lifter, multiple state records, and a 799 lb total is something I’ll never take for granted.

But we’re just getting started. 🖤

On to the next one. 🔥

Behind every big moment is someone who helped you get there. ❤️

I am beyond grateful for this woman and everything she has poured into me as an athlete. The knowledge, dedication, encouragement, and belief she has in me have made such a difference in this journey. She’s pushed me to be better, challenged me, and helped me realize just how much I’m capable of.

This meet was something special! 🏆
🥇 Best Lifter
🥇 1st Place in BOTH classes
🔥 Multiple State Records

A lot of hard work goes into moments like these, and having the right person in your corner makes all the difference.

Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and celebrating every win along the way. So much more to come! ❤️

Meet updates to come… 🔥

Happy Saturday! ☀️🧡🖤 by @sarah_justiss

What an absolutely incredible weekend in Prescott so far! 🖤✨

Three puppies from our Dream x Crush litter stepped into the ring this weekend, and we could not be more proud!

Alma’s Back in Black “Rip” wins Winners Dog and his 2nd major! 🏆 He’s only been shown twice, and he’s had BIG wins both times, Best of Winners yesterday and Winners Dog today! 🖤

Alma’s Unstoppable “Liv” went Winners Bitch yesterday! ✨

And Alma’s Cult of Personality “Brock” made his first ever appearance in the show ring today, shown by me in Bred-by Exhibitor! 🖤 It was so much fun getting to bring this boy out for his very first show. He was an absolute blast, and I couldn’t be more proud of how he handled everything!

Three littermates, three beautiful starts to their show careers, and so much to look forward to with this special group. We are incredibly excited to watch them grow and see what the future holds!

Our beautiful Ch Sandrivers Somebody Save Me @ Alma “Jelly” went Select yesterday and today in a beautiful lineup. 🏆

A huge thank you to Shawna and Bri for beautifully showing our dogs! Bri has been handling Rip, and Shawna has been showing Jelly and Liv. We are so grateful for the time, care, and beautiful presentation you both give our dogs. ❤️

And of course, the kids had a blast! Octavia and Caiden got to spend this morning ringside, cheering on their dogs and soaking it all in. 🥰

I’m incredibly proud of these dogs, this litter, and everyone who has helped make this weekend so special. Breeding is a long game, and weekends like this make all the hard work, planning, dreaming, and waiting worth it.

And lastly, I couldn’t do any of this without Max, the other half of Alma. ❤️ Thank you for being my partner in this crazy, beautiful journey and for sharing the dreams, the work, the wins, and everything in between.

So proud. So grateful. And SO excited for the future of Alma. 🖤🐾

Sunday walks & happy dogs 🐾☀️ by @sarah_justiss

I hope this school year brings new friendships, big laughs, unforgettable memories, and the confidence to chase every goal you set. Watching you grow into the young man you are has been one of my greatest blessings. I’m so proud of your kind heart, your resilience, and the person you’re becoming.

Here’s to an amazing 7th grade year! Work hard, be yourself, be kind, and remember that I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things this year has in store for you. ❤️📚✏️

Love you more than words can say. Go make it a great year! 💙 by @sarah_justiss

Fourteen years ago, I had no idea what our future would look like. I just knew I wanted to hold my baby and somehow make everything okay. AJ has faced more challenges than anyone should, yet he continues to teach me what resilience, perseverance, and unconditional love truly look like. Every day with him is a reminder of how precious life is. So grateful for how far he’s come. by @sarah_justiss

Brock’s rocking his new @noruffs collar! 🖤🩶Comfortable, lightweight, and it looks great on him. Looking forward to many adventures with this handsome guy. by @sarah_justiss
