🥈2025 IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships⁣
⁣
Almost seven months to the day after my accident and surgery, and only four months after starting climbing again I’m so proud to have secured my second Vice World Champion title in Seoul! 🤗⁣
⁣
On top of everything, I also got tonsillitis the day after qualis and could only train once in the four days leading up to finals. I spent half my finals warm up time lying on the ground holding a cold water bottle to my throat⁣
⁣
Despite all that, I finished the finals route only 4.5 moves behind first place. Bittersweet, but I’m so proud of my performance and I can’t wait to see what I can do at full health and strength⁣
⁣
I couldn’t have done it without my amazing support team including @sarah_climbs, @matt_vass, @coach.alexmac, @physioclimber, and @the.movement.doctor, and the support of @sportclimbingaustralia, @vicinstsport, and @theais_. We set an outrageous goal for my recovery and comeback, and we actually did it 💪 ⁣
⁣
So happy to be back 💕⁣

who thinks this is a scam? 😅

the goal was a 90 second hang on a spinning bar and I came up only 5 seconds short! no win, but I’ve seen other reels of this challenge and I beat most of the calisthenics bros sooo 😝

Bould take: if you jump off the ground to move off the start hold you’re a cheaterrrrr

But like, choose your own adventure 😝

Never letting not being able to move or feel my foot get in the way of going for a send ✨

I pulled this out at the very top of my boulder pyramid today. On the first couple of attempts I couldn’t figure out how to reach the far right foot without being able to point my toes. And I thought I unlocked something when I tried sliding my foot down the volume to reach it, but there was too much friction and I fell off there a couple of times.

On this burn you can see I try the slide and then give up and try a stab. And it goeeeesssssss 🥳
