We dusted off the Halloween cobwebs and kicked off November by finally visiting the Millennium Walkway, it's been on my list for years!
We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back for a longer walk - we saw the Torrs Gorge (we even saw some brave people have a go at climbing up it 😳), the Torrs Hydro, all the amazing bridges, the Millennium Walkway and the Mousley Bottom Local Nature Reserve for a play in the woods and more mushroom hunting 🙌🏼
We stopped at @torrvaletap for some lunch - the pies were excellent 👌🏼
Fully recommend for a wholesome day out, but not with a pram or wheelchair as there were some steep cobbled pathways. Bring the dog though 🐶

Kov's office Halloween party, and the putting up of more Halloween decorations at home 🦇
We absolutely love this time of year - it's one of the reasons we named our dog Pumpkin 🎃
First pic is of me and Evie in our charity shop dresses (mine isn't fancy dress but I saved it for Halloween and beyond), completed with things we already owned 👌🏼 by @sarah_spaghetti_

Perfect day for mushroom hunting in Spud Wood after all that rainfall!
Scroll to the end to see just how many huge fly agarics there were 🍄😍
Archie brought his mushroom foraging basket, look how full it was! We've loved mushroom hunting for a few years now and the excitement never gets old for us, they're cute lil' things aren't they 🥰

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY HACHÉ! 🍔👾🥳

We celebrated @hache.mcr's 2nd birthday in the BEST way - sampling their delicious burgers, sides, puddings and cocktails, before heading up to their games bunker and digital darts den for some play time! THAT'S RIGHT - Urmston has its very own burger and games joint, and it's also had a recent glow up 🙌🏼

Archie has been dying to try a smash burger at Haché for ages so this was his dream evening out, and it didn't disappoint.
Main highlights for me were the cheeseburger spring rolls for their big flavour and great texture, the juicy Oklahoma burger with perfect toppings, and the Sex on the Beach cocktail which wasn't too sweet but deliciously fruity 😋👌🏼

But also, just heading upstairs to cosy up with the kids for a game of Minecraft in the games bunker after was a really nice touch, as was enjoying a game of digital darts with Kov (where I did score a bullseye may I add 😆). Both games rooms are nicely done - watch to the end of my reel to have a peek!👆🏼

We give it a 10/10 for high quality food and drinks, brilliant games rooms, and really lovely and helpful staff. Honestly, can't wait to go back 🤩

Thank you for a great night Haché! ❤️❤️

Belated birthday day date for Kov yesterday 🍽️✨🍹
Loving growing up with you @super.nintendo_chalmers 💜

Ended the night with jazzy cocktails at @washhousemcr

We had no idea what to expect - each cocktail is named after a conspiracy theory 😆

Two years without you Mum.
I still love and miss you immensely, I always will.
We still talk about you all the time and all the memories we have of you. We desperately wish you could have met your new granddaughter who joined our family last month! She's so gorgeous! She'll know all about you though, all of your grandchildren will ❤️
Your headstone is still covered in flowers, Dad makes sure it always is 💐
Love you always Mama ✨ by @sarah_spaghetti_

Happy 6th Birthday my little Evie, our rainbow baby, the one who made our little family complete 💖
I couldn't be any prouder of who you are, my sweet but feisty little nugget!
I've been clinging onto your tiny years for as long as possible but just recently, since you started year 1, you've suddenly grown up a lot and are so independent in many ways. And although I might be a bit sad about that, I'm also very proud of that and am always excited to see the wonderful person you're becoming.
Today, you couldn't wait to get up early to see your birthday balloon and gifts, then to go to school to celebrate with your friends. Then after school, we surprised you with a trip to @atomicarchies to take your new roller skates for a spin, and you blew me away with how confident and clever you were on that rink! And I loved finally getting to skate by your side too 🛼✨
Followed by tea at Pizza Express and a birthday visit from family, before asking to go to bed because you were shattered - same girl 😆
More partying on Saturday with your school pals, can't wait 🤪 by @sarah_spaghetti_

Just had to show you some snippets from one of the coolest birthday parties we've ever been to today! It was at @pixelbusters in Stoke-on-Trent, and our pals had hired the whole place to ourselves for 2 hours 🙌🏼
Just head up the stairs and through the secret door into the hidden arcade, and no coins needed - just play away 👾
I loved playing loads of games from my childhood, while the younger ones could play more modern games on a Nintendo Switch, or just relax and watch a film in the cinema area if they wanted to 🙌🏼
Absolutely brilliant concept and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone local! Such a great morning 🕹️👾🎉 by @sarah_spaghetti_

Year 1 & year 6!
Evie's first shirt and tie 🥹 And Archie's last year of primary school 😢
Both had a great first day despite some nervousness, and Evie getting a bump slip already (she's fine!)
Ended their day with 4 of Archie's mates coming round for some absolute chaos that involved a game of Twister and all-pile-on 😆

Last weekend in sunny Llandudno ☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
We haven't been able to get away this summer; we didn't want to risk booking anything while I'm recovering from surgery and being careful with our pennies. So a gorgeous, chilled day out together in a neighbouring country had to do instead 🥰

Learning new skills today 🛼✨🥹

We took the kids to Stretford Roller Disco today so they could both try rollerskating for the very FIRST time, and they did so so well - I was that mum stood at the side crying with pride 🙈
Cannot wait to join them once I've recovered from surgery a bit more, and Evie has already asked for her own pair of roller skates for her birthday in a few weeks 🤩

Also, the staff at the leisure centre were so lovely with us - they took the time to go over to my kids and teach them some tips, checked on them when they had some hard tumbles, and came over to chat with me when they saw me stood at the side having FOMO 😆🥰

@atomicarchies next? 😍

Some of my favourite things this month so far ✨

Loads of lie ins, that end with one or both kids cuddling with me in my bed

Archie being sensible enough to go and hang out with friends all day, like when I was a kid

Our front door opening and closing almost constantly, with the kid's friends coming and going all day, hearing their laughter

Archie learning how to make me the perfect cup of tea while I was recovering from surgery, and still just bringing me one in the morning 🥹

The four of us staying up late to play games, eat whatever and chat together

Summer tomatoes 🍅

Recovering quickly enough to be able to drive after surgery 🙌🏼

Hope you're all finding some joy this summer ❤️☀️ by @sarah_spaghetti_
