Back at Rosanna, our covid sanctuary park, and yes the mud puddles are still here. Normally responsive to commands....NO today did not work to the amusement of others out and about.

Just as well there was some semi fresh water running nearby to wash off!

Togetherness: A Night for the Industry

The industry has always been built on connection — sharing a table, opening a bottle and making time for one another.

On Tuesday 8 September, @sarahandrewwine and our friends at @kelvinclubinc invite fellow sommeliers, winemakers, industry peers and fellow wine lovers for an informal evening of good food, great drinks and even better company.

The idea is simple: bring a favourite Australian beverage to share — wine, sake or a spirit. Something new, something aged, something you’ve discovered recently or something you’ve been saving for the right occasion. No rules, just something you love.

With the industry facing a challenging time, Togetherness is an opportunity to step away from the pressures, reconnect and create a little positivity around the table.

Love Charlie sleep overs with cuddles, play time and local walks.

Now a matriarch, 10 yrs in a few months means she no longer runs with me - is on shorter walks - needs help in and out of cars but still has crazy puppy energy that makes people think she is a puppy 🐶

Photo shows her as stiff as a statue and almost cranky lol, but as her paws hit the ground she was off and into her happy place!

What a night for the Australian wine community. 🥂

Last Monday, we gathered at Lee Ho Fook @leehofooksyd to celebrate the conclusion of the 2026 Sommelier Challenge: Finding Australia's Best Sommelier of the Year, sharing an unforgettable evening with more than 60 friends, colleagues and industry supporters.

A huge congratulations to our outstanding finalists Justin Biskup @motosomm, Clotilde Candusso @clotilde_cdn, Isaac Pockney @ip_vino and Charlie Richards @charlie.richards_ — whose passion, knowledge and professionalism made this year's competition one to remember. And, of course, congratulations to Paolo Saccone MS @vinobypaolo_ms, crowned Australia's Best Sommelier of the Year. Paolo will proudly represent Australia at the ASI Best Sommelier of the World competition in Portugal this October.
