Finding healthier ways to play means you might have to leave the party early to get a good nights sleep and show up for that commitment you have in the morning. Great idea in theory.. until you get home and youโ€™re totally not tired and neither is your outfit, lol. Wished I had played a little longer- but damn did I ace that call the next morning! How do you balance health and play? by @sarahanvik

Time to Shine โœจ๐Ÿ’–โœจ Now more than ever what the world needs is the authentic light and magic that is within all of us. Confidence comes through embodying the fullness of who we are. Stepping into our power means owning all parts of ourselves and being willing to be seen. No more hiding my dears. You already have everything you need inside you ๐Ÿฉท how are you showing up these days? by @sarahanvik
The World is on Fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ and I Surrender. For too long I have grasped at the reigns of control until I utterly exhausted myself, bruised, bloody, feeling broken. Then it all went up in flames. So I let go. I surrendered myself. I stopped trying to push, and force and shape it into what I wanted. I slowed down, got quiet, and listened. In the silence, in the absence, of the life I had, the one I thought I wanted, I grieved. The loss of it all crushed me, and yet, amongst the ashes and rubble of what buried me, a light emerged.. quiet surrender to the subtle peace underneath it all. A needed death. A release. An unwinding of what I thought I needed, who I thought I was.. the crushing weight of it all broke me into pieces. Fragments of my souls longing carving a new path. And as I emerge, I am forever changed. Parts of me remain, but I move differently..my soul craves solitude, simplicity and in it all, a simple surrender. A knowing that I am not in control. And however scary the world may seem, all I can do is trust. Letting go of some of the weight on my shoulders. Placing faith in the painful unfolding. Finding beauty in the breakdown. And the more I release, the more I rise. Reclaiming my essence.. my purpose. Letting go and letting God guide me. Letting life lead. Letting my body whisper. She knows the way. I surrender โค๏ธ can you relate? by @sarahanvik
I did something out of character- despite having gone to Portland to work, snowboard and spend time with friends- I woke up feeling exhausted and deeply needing rest, self care and replenishment. So I cancelled it all. Skipped a 12 inch powder day (never done that), turned down opportunities to see friends, and cancelled work. I knew if I didnโ€™t slow down, my body would not have the capacity for all my important priorities the rest of the week. So rest became my priority. It changed everything! The remainder of the week I was able to focus on both jobs, seeing friends, and even went to a show (sober) so I could get some dancing in, because my energy was renewed. We donโ€™t always have the luxury to clear our schedules- though this is a big reason Iโ€™m self employed. With the freedom it provides I can lead my days from internal guidance, rather than obligation. Regardless of your circumstances, just remember- self care is not selfish. Whatโ€™s your favorite form of self care? by @sarahanvik
Iโ€™ve been Hiding hereโ€ฆ Hiding parts of who I am out of fear of judgement, rejection, shame, ridicule. Hiding my pain to show how strong, resilient and together I am. Hiding my power- out of fear of responsibility or to be more accepted. Hiding parts of my past that Iโ€™m not proud of, so people will like me more. Well, fuck that! Iโ€™m done hiding! Because what Iโ€™ve realized is- Iโ€™m hiding some of the best parts of myself. Parts that make me human, that show my strength, that reveal my truth and that show how far Iโ€™ve come. In hiding it, not only am I being less authentically myself, but Iโ€™m not able to speak with as much authority, and in doing so, itโ€™s harder for others to REALLY know and trust me! So, Iโ€™m unveiling whatโ€™s been hidden. If you want to see, be sure to follow and stay close. Itโ€™s about to get fun and real AF and a little spicy ๐Ÿ˜˜ by @sarahanvik

Sensuality is about tuning into the senses- and tuning in with what the body really needs. When we are sad, triggered, longing for another, etc. it may just be there our inner child needs love. We donโ€™t need to seek from another. Self love is an inside job. Love and soothe yourself in the way you would a loved one, and see how quickly the body responds. This is your invitation to slow down into your body today โ™ฅ๏ธŽ by @sarahanvik

Hi! Iโ€™m Sarah! Your new natural health bestie! Letโ€™s be friends! by @sarahanvik
Losing weight requires eating more- let me explain. Most people who are trying to lose weight go into massive calorie deficit. This may work for a time, but the problem is that when we donโ€™t eat enough, our body thinks weโ€™re starving so it stores fat, and โ€œeatsโ€ muscle. What also happens is when we deprive ourselves, we are more likely to binge or eat things that are not healthy. In order to lose weight in a healthy way- we need to eat MORE. More frequently, more quality, more nutritious, and more presently. Eating every 3.5 hours is best for women to keep blood sugar and hormones stable. This also optimizes digestion and metabolism. Choosing similar times each day, similar portions and eating the right foods for your body will give the most benefit and allow you to naturally shed excess pounds. Want to learn more? To Heal the Body- We Must Love the Body- that doesnโ€™t mean we have to love everything about ourselves, we are all here wanting to improve. However, the body can only heal itself to the proportion to which we are willing to love and tend to it. Unconditional love is an inside job. The more we can love and accept where we are (who we are) as we work to improve, the quicker we can heal. I love you! Do you? Letโ€™s deepen together!
