20+ years of friendship. 💜 So thankful for such an intentional and loving best friend. Had the best weekend in the mountains getting *absolutely soaked* on hikes and hanging with some of the coolest kids I know. by @sarahbethstevens

My whole life I’ve heard my dad talk about wanting to be called to ministry. For 30+ years he enjoyed an incredibly successful career as a lawyer and poured his free time into serving others, leading Bible studies, and traveling the world on mission trips. He faithfully and patiently waited on God’s direction, and at just the right time, God introduced him to hospital chaplaincy and made his lifelong ministry dream come true. Today, my dad officially graduated seminary with a Master’s in Religion. Proud is an understatement. I’m so thankful to be his daughter 💜 (Getting to see dear friends and celebrate their graduation, too, made today even more special!) by @sarahbethstevens

One year.
There’s a lot I could say, but today I’m simply thankful. Thankful that God’s plan is better than mine. Thankful for a church in Texas who shaped me into who I am today. Thankful for a church in Arizona who welcomed me with open arms. Thankful for all the opportunities I’ve had over the past year to grow and learn.

We missed the Stevens half of the family, but we enjoyed our time with the Norris crew in AZ! Long walks, so much food, shopping, a tour & olive oil tasting at an olive mill—such a sweet time celebrating Thanksgiving and showing my parents around our new home. {{Mikal and I have been spoiled by this weather already. ➡️November 2017: Very first trip to Arizona when our trip to Mexico was cancelled. We fell in love with this place and made it a point to come visit a few times each year.
➡️ January 2022: Literally right after our first time worshiping with @mcdowell.church while we were here on vacation.
➡️ November 2022: Living in AZ and serving at McDowell.
We had no clue what was coming in those first two pictures or after our first time visiting some church on Shea, and I love that God has been paving the way for this move long before we had any idea. We sure do miss TX, but there’s nothing sweeter than following God’s call. Where He leads, He provides.
