POSTS STORIES REELS

I've been shooting a lot of photos for my photography class. Most of these photos were taken on a Nikon camera. Some of the other photos will be taken with a film camera, and those rolls of film will be developed in the photo lab. Even though I have never taken photos on a camera before. I AM VERY EXSISTED to share my work with ya'll!!! 📸😀

The theme is 🌎 TRAVELING 🌍

My FINAL PROJECT for photography was definitely hard and very rewarding. I got to use all the skills I learned during this semester. I learned to imbrace different forms of creativity and technicality.

My second roll of film didn't develop the way I wanted. Only 6 photos developed out of 36. Anyways I had to bull shit my way through this assignment. 🤪

I got to learn a new technique called Dodge and Burn. This process helps enhance darks and lights depending on the print. Additionally, I learned how to use filters in the darkroom.

I forgot to post this last week, but this is the last digital assignment before getting into developing my first roll of film. Everyone in class was given an adjective word mine was tall. I found these succulents in my backyard. #photography #succulents #plant #photo #collegestudent #creativeflow #naturelover by @sarahebirrell

Made this in the dark room at school. It's called a Photogram. We had to bring objects from home and do a self-portrait. The middle picture is paper. I used 3 separate pieces of thick paper and exacto knife to cut out each detail and then meticulously put them together to make the canvas picture. The exposure light was 2 seconds, and then I developed it in the chemistry.

My two favorite pictures out of 📸 7 freezing motion, 📸 7 bluring motion, 📸 7 deep depth of field, and 📸 7 shallow depth of field. I did edit these two in Lightroom a little bit. ALSO, I just finished developing my last roll of film today. Stay tuned for those pics because after they are graded, I will be posting them.

My second assignment for my photography class was to practice with different lighting. This bird nest was taken in my backyard. I also did edit some of it to make the nest brighter. Because the original photo was really dark in Lightroom.
