Sarah & Zach brought friends and family over from the USA for a three-day celebration at Penicuik Estate, and I had the pleasure of capturing the first two days of their pre-wedding celebrations.

There were Highland Games, lunch and drinks by the loch, a few brave dips in the water, champagne in the courtyard and plenty of time simply spent together before the wedding day itself.

Each day was a joy to capture, with dinner each evening bringing everyone together after days that felt relaxed, joyful and full of personality.

Such a brilliant couple of days to capture, and a lovely way to tell the story of everything leading into Sarah & Zach’s wedding at Penicuik Estate.

Are you using a retinoid but still not seeing the clear glowy results you were promised? You may be neglecting the second half of the new cell growth life cycle responsible for slewing away the accelerated accumulation of dead skin cells on the surface to make way for the newer shinier cells. Try incorporating a gentle exfoliant you can use as consistently as your retinoid and watch what happens!

Last year I started to lose a lot of hair due to *stress*. Though an avid skincare girly, I’d never really paid attention to my haircare. But these few switches have made a huge difference. After 3 months I’m looking like a chia pet 🌱

To note: always see your doctor first! After discussing with my derm we ruled out any bio marker or pattern baldness so we knew it was just stress related. Also these are what worked for MY hair type. Follow @abbeyyung and @theskincarebookshelf if you’re interested in any other products that may be better for your hair! by @sarahedewees
