I used to define success as taking space in certain rooms, at certain tables, even in certain conversations. Lately…. those things don’t hit the same for me anymore because in all of the ways that matter to me, I’m thinking alignment and autonomy over proximity to someone else’s space that probably wasn’t made with me in mind anyway.

My redefinition of it all is starting with me having just a little bit of audacity.

It’s been quiet here for a while. I’ve been quiet.
Not because nothing was happening—
but because I was choosing not to force what came next.
I was laid off.
At the same time, I was launching something new.
And somewhere in between, I decided not to rush into another full-time role.
Not yet.
There’s a version of this moment where I would’ve tried to make it make sense immediately.
Update everything. Start applying. Find the next thing.
Because, you know—responsibility. Kids. But I didn’t.
