Saucony London 10km

What a glorious weekend filled with family time, downtime and a cheeky London race 👌🫶

The @thelondon10k is a huge yet impeccably organised central London race. 19000 people toed the line today - it was incredible. Regardless of the heat I utterly loved it and have signed up for 2027 already.

South Downs Way 100 2026

Ultra running rarely goes to plan! But most will never be brave enough to try!
The 100 miler is a fickle beast - it’s not about your ability to go the distance, it’s about managing yourself, managing your mind, problem solving, being uncomfortable for a very long time. Yes you can plan to the n’th degree, but once you’re out there you might as well tear up that plan and create ten more whilst you’re out there !!

I still haven’t conquered the SDW100 - the heat, terrain, elevation, my mind, my crippling self doubt did not align - all excuses I know!! But you have to meet the cut off for each aid station or it’s the end of the journey! I’d totally have finished otherwise 🤷‍♀️
But what I did achieve is 110km - a HUGE achievement in itself and one I’m mega proud of. Haters will see this as a failure - please go ahead ( but please also unfollow me as we don’t like that kind of negativity over here 😘)

Huge heartfelt thanks to the entire team at @centurionrunning including your phenomenal volunteers- they really are something special.

I may or may not be back…..I’ll think about it whilst I recover !!

Mendip Challenge 20 mile 2026
What a stunning route but anything but flat!
Over 1500 people out running and walking 5,10,20 and 30 mile routes raising valuable funds for @weston_hospicecare
Highly recommend if you love a hilly hike or a stunning trail run ( dogs very much welcome and get their own medal too)

Hugest thanks to my speedy roadrunner pal @becsterruns75 for being my wingwoman - gave up trying to keep up with her around 10km!! A stunning day out

For me now it’s a very strict 12 day taper into the @centurionrunning South Downs Way 100 mile. Let’s see what we can do this time

Big Way Round 50km 2026

That was tough!! I’ve done this event four times now and it rains without fail - except today - it was 20° 😮‍💨
@bigfeatevents put on some of the best events - all brutally hilly but fabulously organised and absolutely stunning scenery.
This one is one big loop around the hilly countryside around Winchester 👌

Now we rest, recover and go again in a few weeks time

Reverse London Marathon at Midnight 2026

Now that’s an event like no other! An unforgettable experience that still hasn’t quite sunk in!

When @stephsbath suggested this to me about six months ago I knew I had a trail marathon that weekend already, but of course I said YES!

With an hours nap and a fresh set of kit plus road shoes this time we set off for London.
We had been told to gather in Trafalgar Square around 11.15pm for a briefing and the sheer volume of people arriving was mind blowing! Some running, some walking, all following the official London Marathon route but from the finish line to the start line. No closed roads just us sharing the pavements with the people of London.

It was incredible ( if a little painful just 10 hours after the Bath Beat!)
Running through the night is a magical experience, but running through the streets of London, on the marathon route and sightseeing between midnight and sunrise is all kinds of insane!!

Huge thanks to the organisers and volunteers ( and they’re all volunteers!), to all of the other participants and especially to @stephsbath who was the very best company and logistics manager all rolled into one ❤️🫶

Would I do it again ……hell yes!

Bath Beat Trail Marathon 2026

I absolutely love this event . Runners, walkers, several different distances and all ages welcome.
I opted for a solo marathon distance and the weather absolutely delivered ☀️

This event is self navigating so off I trotted with a gpx map on my watch after hugs with some of my fellow @perpetualmotioncoaching run crew, other familiar faces and of course greetings with all the puppies 🐾

This event is known for its stunning scenery, it’s amazing check points and of course those hills ( 1000 metres of elevation!). It’s also got eleventy billion gates to open and climb over!

If you haven’t heard of this event or done it before I HIGHLY recommend you do it. Entries usually open in January and they sell out FAST!

Some of my favourite trails ❤️

First time this year that I’ve been up and around some of my favourite trails around Bath.
Weston, Kelston Roundhill, Prospect Stile ( those views 👌), Langridge, Primrose Woods then Linear Park and the tunnels ( for me to get to 30km)

Two marathons in 24 hours in two weeks time !!!
