There’s something so beautiful about watching movement and music meet in real time.

As we enter Year Three, I took the summer to completely shift my perspective✨

Year Two was HARD. So much harder than I expected.
There were policies to build, procedures to figure out, countless mistakes to make, and so many moments where I had to learn how to be a business owner while also simply being human.

And somewhere in all of that, I realized I needed to pause.
I needed to ask myself what I truly want to gain from this community, what I want to give to it, and how I want to show up within it.
How to lead but stop people pleasing as I truly cannot please everyone. Because this thing is evolving and I can either evolve with it or burn out trying to hold onto the version of it that no longer exists.

That realization brought me back to something I have been thinking about a lot lately.
Everything in life comes for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
The beauty is learning not to force yourself to know which one it is, but trusting that time will reveal it.

I think we do this with people, experiences, and even the things we create.
We want to know what will last.
We want to know what will work.
We want to know what is worth holding onto.
But maybe we aren’t always meant to know right away.

Some things come to teach us.
Some things come to change us.
Some things stay and become part of who we are.
And some things have to evolve or leave so that we can become who we are meant to be.
I am learning that my job isn’t to make everything stay the same.

It is to pay attention.
To listen.
To learn.
To grow.
To allow myself to feel all of it.

There will be hard seasons. There will be beautiful seasons. There will be moments where we celebrate and moments where we have to completely rethink what we are doing.
I am not perfect and I never will be.

But the insight I gained this summer, surrounded by my people, gave me the clarity to show up with a new light this year.
A little softer.
A little wiser.
A little more accepting of what is meant to stay, what is meant to change, and what is simply meant to teach me.

Year Three feels different🤍
Not because I have everything figured out.
But because I finally understand that I don’t need to.
