When I meet people wrestling over having more kids, I find myself saying- have one more! I know personally the joy of that bonus baby and how stretched I felt when we found out we were pregnant with #5 and yet it’s been the sweetest and most love filled time adding a baby to our already full nest! To all the parents of toddlers- you’re tired, you don’t sleep much, but they will grow… relief is coming! (They will dress themselves and use the bathroom unattended!). If you’re older than you planned- you will have energy! And the bigger kids will help! Have one more baby 🥹💕#family #motherhood #supersizemores by @sarahsize

These pockets of time where we all get away together and run through fields shouting, “there’s so many blueberries here!”, or “Gus, where are you?!” are my favorite! We have been enjoying every square inch of summer and picking berries was one of the simple highlights. Raising these kiddos is such a joy and I’ll never get over the gift of being their mom. Kyle and I often get choked up over the priveledge and awe as we realize the speed of the years and are humbled by the length of some days 🤣🥹. Summer 2026 has been of the best.

When the world seems bonkers, I lean harder into the TRUTH and hold tighter to the joy of raising these gifts.

Children are a blessing. Their lives are precious. And we have been entrusted with the incredible privilege of loving them, discipling them, and raising them in the fear of the Lord.

Mothers, we get to push back against the narrative of the world in a thousand ordinary ways.

Every tender hug.
Every meal made.
Every prayer prayed.
Every correction given in love.
Every moment we choose to delight in our children instead of seeing them as an inconvenience.

It is a blessing to raise these babies.

So to the mothers willingly and joyfully pouring out your lives for the next generation….KEEP going.

Keep reminding the women coming behind you that Jesus offers us something better than living only for ourselves.

Love your children. Delight in them. Teach them truth. Point them to Jesus.

And when the world feels upside down, remember: we already know how the story ends. Jesus wins. 🤍

Back to school can bring up lots of emotions… Because there will be moments when-
Mom isn’t there.
Dad isn’t there.
We won’t hear the conversation or be able to step in and fix it.

But Jesus will be there.

That’s why the ordinary days matter—the prayers, the Bible reading, the Scripture memorized, the conversations about Jesus.

We’re teaching them to know His voice and trust Him for themselves.

What we plant at home becomes strength they carry when we’re not there.

We are always trying to be desperate for Jesus- to reach for Him- and we should…but have you ever thought about how deeply Jesus pursued us first?

John 4 says Jesus “NEEDED to go through Samaria.”

He needed to stop at that well.
He needed to have that conversation.
He intentionally went after a woman others had written off.

That’s the Gospel.

Before we ever went looking for Jesus, Jesus came looking for us.

He left Heaven.
He became flesh and dwelt among us.
He stepped into our brokenness.
And He gave His life to redeem us and bring us back to God🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

We are desperate for Him—but He pursued us first.

“We love because He first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19

Today I want to remember that HE is the one who initiated this love affair ♥️that makes it so much easier and clearer… that’s why I reach for Him, talk with Him, read His word… because this is a relationship started by Him.
