Out today on Playbill (in honor of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s birthday - link in bio), a special medley preview of @timidfrieda gorgeous stage musical, The Fitzgeralds of St Paul. When I first saw an excerpt of this show at the @thewallisbh (introduced by @wickedschwartz no less), I was immediately bowled over by how romantic it was, and how it balanced these characters’ electric connection with an unspeakable, looming darkness. Don’t even get me started on the fact that Christie wrote the book, music and lyrics, proving that unicorns are, in fact, real. It was an honor to put a piece of it on film, in the most gorgeous bar from the 1800’s @stewarthouseny and in collaboration with a fabulously creative and endlessly supportive team - @dannymefford @ryanbroombergdp @brainstormtheatrics @mattcastlemd @timidfrieda @yazmany @jewellwilsonbridges @tifftopol and produced by the fearless @frenchnavy with support from hardest working mini crew @harry.robinson_20 @i_ropes @maybemilani 🙌🏼 Peep what’s next for the show (including a production in Buffalo this November, a concept album with Broadway stars and more), here: https://www.fitzgeraldsmusical.com/ Film Direction and Editing 👋🏼 Stage Direction @dannymefford Music Produced @brainstormtheatrics Film Produced @frenchnavy EPs @timidfrieda Anne Kelly @sarahthack Director of Photography @ryanbroombergdp Gaffer @harry.robinson_20 1st AC @i_ropes Key Grip @maybemilani Key Hair @hairbeautybybay VFX @benstommes Music and Lyrics by @timidfrieda Musical Supervision and Orchestration @brainstormtheatrics @mattcastlemd Recording, Editing and Mixing Engineer @brainstormtheatrics STARRING @jewellwilsonbridges as F. Can’t believe it still 🥹🎥 Beyond thrilled to share that I’m officially part of Hallmark Media’s Make Her Mark program, which supports and increases representation of women behind the camera, along with a cohort of truly accomplished directors @officialcrystallowe @nikdeloach @huriyyahmwright @hannahfmichielsen @kay.s.metchie @eva.l.tavares @adventureangie All made possible because of the incomparable @ashleywilliamsandcompany (an insanely talented director herself) who created this program, and the full team at Hallmark for believing in its importance. @hallmarkchannel @hallmarkchannelpr Can’t wait to get started 🥳 📸 by 🐩 @ryanbroombergdp by @sarahthack
