Quiet luxury is about balance—texture, scale, and restraint.
Spaces that feel effortless, layered, and deeply livable.

I design refined interiors and retreats for clients nationwide, blending natural materials, custom details, and a calm, collected aesthetic.

Carriage House in Greenwich Village we designed back in the day! Loved the warmth and natural materials and how they combine an escape from the city that’s right outside the front door. #interiordesign #citydesign #carriagehouse by @sarahvaildesign

Awe. This one gets me. Worked with Iris and Carl for a handful of years while starting out in Interior Design in NYC. Carl was a lover. Taught me about the inter workings of textiles from around the world. Iris basically looked me up and down the first few years wondering how I snuck into her orbit, I’m sure. But at the end, she would smile and let me work along side her. Queen Diva doesn’t do it justice. The two are back together tonight. RIP #Iris & #Carl. taken in New York, New York by @sarahvaildesign
